"Dude, you're sounding desperate over there." My best friend, Niall Horan laughed. I barely heard him. I was too busy staring at Izzy.
Izabel Peters. She could be head cheerleader. She could be Miss America. Too bad she's the shyest girl I've ever known.
Ever since 8th grade, I've wanted Izzy to be mine. She's so beautiful. She just doesn't know it yet.
I felt a slap on the back, interrupting my daydreaming. It was my other best friend, Louis Tomlinson. He's a real softie, but call him "Lewis" and he'll kick your ass. "Come on, mate. Time for class." I looked up at him and frowned. "Izzy isn't in my class until 5th period." I sighed. I guess I was a little desperate.

"Hey Izzy!" I called out as I sped down the hall. As she turned her head around her hair flipped and my heart skipped a beat. "Hey Izzy, do you, uh, wanna hang out sometime?"
"Me?! Uh, I.. I... Um.. I gotta go." She quickly pretended to take a great interest in the dirty tile floors and half smiled as she walked away. Izabel Peters. I'll be your boyfriend. If its the last thing I do.
