Halloween

"It was late at night.. raining heavily with thunderstorm.. a lost boy found a mansion.. it was scary looking from the outside but he had no other choice but to go there.. he was afraid and his heart racing.. he opened the door..

"Hello.. is anybody here?" Asked the lost boy in fear.. but there was no answer.. he walked around and he heard voices.. creepy ones.. he tried to escape but the door was locked.. someone called for him

"Welcome little boy.. come here"
He followed the voice and it led him to the kitchen..

There was a chef busy cooking
"Um.. excuse me sir?" said the boy
The chef turned around and he was covered in blood!! And in his hand was a big knife

"Come here little boy.. you look delicious"
The boy cried and ran in fear.. he found himself in the dining room with many scary looking people who looked like zombies enjoying their meal.. he saw dead bodies on the table.. they turned towards him

"We need more" and they stood up
The boy ran and ran until he reached dead end..

He begged them to spare his life.. they grabbed him and start cutting into his flesh.. he could hear the sound of his bone breaking and a zombie reached for his eye and-"

"STOOOOOOOP NIISAN" young Sev start crying in the dark room with his siblings.

The door opened and their mommy Shiki showed up.

"Sev!! What's wrong?" she said in a worried voice.
"Mommy!!" Little Sev ran and hugged her,
Shiki hugged him back tightly.
"What happened here Sal? And why you're staying in the dark?"

Sal the eldest among the siblings placed his arms behind his head and said in a bored voice, "I was just telling them a horror story"

"What?!" Shiki still hugging crying Sev
"It's halloween we need to tell scary stories" Sal explained.
"And who said so?"
"Daddy told me this story!!"
"Ed..." Shiki facepalmed.
"Shut up!! Not scary!!" said their little sister, Shika and her chicken pet Karaage added "baaq!!", Shika left the room and Karaage followed her.
"I really don't understand that girl" said Shiki with a 'meh' face..
"Mommy I'm scared" Sev looked up to his mom still in her arms but he stopped crying
"It's ok Sev.. nothing to worry about.. mommy is here" she patted on his back "and you, big boy we need to talk!"
"Meeeh I want food" Sal walked out of the room.

Shiki's three kids will drive her crazy..
She turned the lights on and explained that it's just a story..
She made sure that Sev wasn't scared anymore then held his hand and walked to the living room to see Shika sitting there with Eduardo.

"More scary stories!!" Shika demanded and as always Karaage added "baaaaq!!"
Eduardo had a sweat drop on his face "I can't scare this kid"
"Ed stop telling scary stories they're still young to handle them" Shiki said gesturing to Sev
"Okay I won't tell anymore stories"
"NO!! TELL STORY!!" Shika smacked her daddy on his head with a shark plushie that was on the couch.
"Stop it you little demon" he grabbed her and started his tickling attack.
Shika laughed and enjoyed playing with her dad.

After dinner the kids washed up and went to bed.. Eduardo and Shiki wished them a goodnight and kissed them before closing the door.

Shiki laid on bed next to Eduardo
"Do you think Sev will be ok? He's scared of Sal's nonstop scary stories thanks to you" she said closing her eyes.
"That kid is a crybaby.. he's eight years already"
"So?.. he's still a kid"
"I think.. he misses his daddy.. that's all"
".... Hideki.."
Shiki thought of Hideki who was very busy at work.
"Yeah... we didn't see him in a while now... poor Sev he surely misses him.. i hope Hideki is ok.. he's handling a tough case" Shiki said in a worried voice.
"Naaah that cyborg is ok don't worry.. he won't die easily" Eduardo laughed.
"Shut up Ed that's not funny"
"Then why are you smiling" he said and went closer and kissed her softly on the lips.

*knock knock*
"Who is it?" Shiki asked
"It's me mommy"
Shiki looked at Eduardo, "told you he'll be scared"
She opened the door to Sev who just woke up from a nightmare.. and he spent the night with them..

Next morning

Shiki was busy in the kitchen making lots of halloween snacks..
Shika was in the kitchen too feeding her pet Karaage.

"Shika sweetie would you like to help me making scary cupcakes?" Shiki asked and gave her a wink.
"No.. I go help daddy" Shika walked to the living room looking for daddy Eduardo who was preparing the decorations.

"DADDY!! I HELP!!" Shika screamed and scared Eduardo who was on a ladder hanging decorations, and he fell down.

"Ugh.. Shika you brat how many times I told you not to scream!!" Eduardo scolded her..
He stood up and held a paper pumpkin to her "here you go kiddo.. hang it there on the wall"
Shika walked away "I go!! I no help!!" And Karaage added "baaaq!!"
"......." Eduardo was left alone with nothing to say to his crazy daughter

Sal and Sev were in their room checking their costumes "Hey Sev!" Sal called his brother "yes?"
"You were scared last night and went to mommy and daddy's room right?" Sal teased him
"Um... no..I.." Sev was embarrassed
"Sev baby!! Sev cry go to mama!!" Shika suddenly was infront of them.. they didn't notice her coming
"Shika!! How did you get in here?! The door is locked!!" Asked Sal with confusion
"HAHAHAHA!!" Shika laughed and so did Karaage "baqbaqbaqbaq!!" And they left the room..

The truth is that Sal and Sev feared their little sister and her crazy pet.. well.. all the family do..

Finally it's night..
The living room was fully decorated and halloween snacks were on the table
"Good job Ed!! I didn't know you're good at this" Shiki said with joy.
"I can do many things unlike you" he smirked and pulled her closer.
"You meanie!!" She pouted.
"Kids!! Come here!!" Eduardo called for them.. finally the kids can see the decorated living room.
"Woooow!! That's amazing!!" They happily said and jumped around.. looking closely at every piece there.
"Good job daddy!! But not scary!! Hahaha!!" Shika laughed along with crazy Karaage.. She was wearing a witch costume and Karaage too.

"...You.... come here I'll eat you!!" Eduardo held her high and attacked her with kisses and she laughed more.
"You no eat me daddy you not vampire.. you vampire hunter" Shika said in her cute way of talking.
"Yeah.. but a vampire bit me and I turned into one!!" And he start tickling her.
"That means Sev bit you cause he's a vampire!!" Sal who was wearing a zombie costume said looking at Sev next to him
"Ehh? Sev what's wrong? are you scared?" Sal poked his brother.
"N-no... I'm not... it's papa.."
Sev said looking at the wall clock and with watery eyes he walked to his mommy.
"Mama!! Papa is not going to make it tonight right?"
"Awww Sev.." Shiki patted on his head "sorry Sev.. it's his duty.. you do understand right?"
"Yeah I do.. but I miss him" he wiped away his tears
"Sev!! Even if cyb.. I mean your dad is not here... I'm your dad too" Eduardo comforted him and Sev was happy to hear that and they hugged

"Ok kids!! Let's play games!!" Shiki clapped her hands to get everyone's attention.
"Yaaaaay!!" They screamed and enjoyed playing many games together..

Few hours later..
There was a knocking on the front door
"Yaaay!! Time for trick or treat!!" The kids grabbed candies to give away
"Make sure you scare them before giving them any candy" Eduardo laughed
"You're mean even with kids..." Shiki pinched his cheek
"It's halloween what's the point if they're not scared" he pinched back her cheek

"Shhh.. Sev you stand here and Shika you stay there.. Karaage you'll go this way ok!! We must scare them hehe" Sal said with his evil smirk.

*knock knock*
Sal gave them the signal to open the door.
"Trick or treat!!" A man wearing a devil costume showed up at the door.. it was Hideki
"Waaaaaaa!!" Screamed Sal
"Papa!!! You're back!!" Sev jumped and cried in his arms
"Sev.. sorry to keep you waiting" Hideki carried him
"No papa!! As long as you're here I'm happy"
"Good costume papa... but not scary!! Hahaha!!" Said the little witch Shika and her partner Karaage.
"Thanks to your mommy she gave it to me before i was stuck with work.. and i kept it in my car"
"Oooh!! Still not scary!! Hahahaha!!"
"Hahaha I miss you crazy Shika.. you too Sal" Hideki smiled and hugged them all.. he's happy to be home..

Gathered as one family in the living room they enjoyed the evening
Eduardo was making fun of Hideki wearing a devil.. While Hideki was ignoring him and playing with the kids..
Shiki watched her happy family and wished for more happiness and more halloweens to come in the future..
