I was sprinting down the seemingly never-ending road. It was pitch black out and another rainstorm was rolling in. First the rain was only sprinkling slightly, but then with just my luck it started pouring down on my head. That’s when I started sprinting back towards my house or I should say my dad’s. I was ten minutes away from the house at most ,but I can barley tell where I’m going from all this hellish rain. I stood there trying to remember where I was going then I just thought fuck it and sat down on the hard black pavement under me.
Oh sorry I should probably introduce myself. My name is Aria Nicole Howe. I’m your average all around seventeen year old American girl. I’m from New York, New York , but my oh so loving mother decided to ship my fourteen year old brother Tyler and I off to our dad’s for the end of summer. Wait it gets better though, she decided that we should get to know our father and his new family better so they have extended our stay till the end of the next school year. So I get to experience senior year at a new school wit h no friends… Lucky me… not! We all know that it’s an excuse so she can just take her glamour’s new executive job in Paris, France. That’s right freaking Paris and she decides now of all times to leave me alone. So I’m back to where I originally came from , Charleston, South Carolina and now I'm living with Tyler my brother, my dad Austin , his wife Trish, my brat of a half sister Leyanne, and my step brother Jackson, but Jackson doesn’t count because he is never at the house.
So back to reality, It was about five in the evening when my dad had just gotten home from work and gave me the whole spiel on how I need to figure out what I’m doing with my life or at least get a job and not waste the rest of my summer doing pointless nonsense. So I got off my lazy ass and walked in to the town. It was fifteen minutes by foot and five by car with no traffic. After about two and half agonizing hours of job hunting I found nothing that doesn’t involve me cleaning tables or bathrooms. I was starting to head home when Trish texted me , telling me about her old friend that had just moved down to Charleston had a boutique opening in the city and was looking for employee’s. I figured sure why not … I do love clothes! So about after an hour of filling out paper work , my new boss , Emma told me I should start to head home and that’s where I was going until this rainstorm came along.
So now I am currently sitting on this old back road that takes me back to my dad’s house. Life can’t get any better than this right? Wrong.
All the sudden out of nowhere I see lights coming towards me and hear the sound of a motorcycle screech to a full stop right in front of me. I tried jumping out of the way but I just fell over scrapping the side of my leg….Greattt.
“Are you fucking crazy?” A boy around 6’2” screamed at me hopping off the cycle walking over towards where I was currently laying in the middle of the road. The rain had now just gone back to a light sprinkle. As the boy walked closer the more I noticed his beautiful features, he had a very chiseled face and a sharp jaw line that look like it could cut you in a heart beat. He had taken his sunglasses off and now I could see his piercing blue eyes. To top it off he had a mop of soaking black curly hair resting on his hair. Saying he was hot was an understatement… he was gorgeous! But there was just something about his eyes that were all to familiar to me , but I couldn’t put my figure on it
“Heeeeelllllooooo?” he asked. I snapped back to reality and he was currently standing right above me waving his hands in the air. I probably looked like a drooling idiot staring at him.
“What was the question?” I shot back at him a little to forcefully.
“I asked if you were crazy? I mean I don’t usually see beautiful helpless girls sitting in the middle of the road in the pitch black while it’s pouring outside.”
I felt my face immediately blush hearing him call me beautiful. No guy has ever called me that , well except for my dad , but we all know he doesn’t count. Most of the time they just called me hot or pretty but nothing more than that. Lets just say I’m not popular in the guys department. “ Sorry I just thought nobody ever travelled down this road anymore.” I responded trying to avoid any possible eye contact, but it was just too hard, his eyes were so irresistible.
“ Well I travel down this road , does that make me a nobody?”
“Ummm No?” I replied questioningly.
“Well that’s good , It looks like you hurt your self pretty bad.” he said staring at the cuts on my leg that were bleeding pretty heavily. “I should probably take you home or to a near by hospital.” Without giving me time to reply he lifted me off the ground bridal style and set me on his bike .
“My dad told me never to go anywhere with strangers!” I blurted out before I could process what I was saying. Dammit! I really need to think before I talk.
He let out a chuckle before hopping on the bike. “There is no need to worry about that.” He said with his back turned to me. “ Ok , where do you live ? We need to get you home before anything else happens…”
I gulped before saying “ 811 Stonegate.”
“Ah Stonegate” he said a little to knowingly. Now he probably thought I was a conceded little brat.
Stonegate was basically everyone in Charleston’s dream place to live. If you lived there you were someone and you were living the dream life, well so that’s what everyone thought. I hated it there! It was basically a circle with one dozen of the finest homes in America. No lie , they have been featured in dozens of shows and magazines. So because of that everyone who lived there was basically a conceited narcissist who only cared about wealth and social status. I should probably explain why I’m living there. Ever heard of the twisted corporations? ( A/N: just pretend that’s a really big company) I’m going to take that as a yes, so basically my dad and his friend Stephan created the company after collage and now they have more money then they know what to do with it. Also, that’s not why I try not to be so social. After so many people use you for money you get really sick of it.
“Hold on tight!” Motorcycle boy exclaimed as he shot off.
I hugged him as tight as possible. Of course that didn’t help my case. His abs were as hard as rocks and don’t get me started on his muscular arms…It was obvious he worked out… A LOT!
After about five minutes of dreaming about this mysterious boy I noticed that we were coming to a stop on my drive way . I jumped off the bike , resisting not just sitting there hold on to this beautiful boy. It literally took all my energy .
I began heading up to my house and paused turning around . “ Thank you, for uh bringing me home, you could’ve left me there but you didn’t . I appreciate that.” I said softly.
“ It was no problem Aria.” He said as he began to back of my driveway.
Whoa, whoa , whoa wait. I never told biker boy my name…Then as soon as I saw him pull into the driveway next door realization hit me smack on the face and I stood there dumbfounded watching him look over and wave. No,no, no this can’t be happening to me….

So what do you guys think of the first chapter? Should I continue? Who do you think Mystery boy is?
