"Do you want to come over to my house?" I asked looking deep into her eyes. I knew she could change her eye color when she wanted to, but I knew when they turned a shade lighter, it was subconsciously out of excitement.

"Sorry it's messy." I opened the front door and let Jade walk in front of me. "I'll tell you what happened in a sec."

She walked up the stairs and didn't even observe the house. It was like she didn't care what it looked like and I was happy on that. "I'm guessing that's you're room." She pointed.

"Yeah." I half smiled. She walked in and sat on my bed.

"Your house isn't even messy what do you mean?"

"I thought it'd be messy to you. It would be if you were my mom."

"All moms would say that. Speaking of moms where's yours?"

"She went with my aunt to tell her what happened." I sat next to her and laid my head against the wall. The feeling aroused in me again and I felt like I would start to have a panic attack or something. "Shit I need a cigarette. You want one?"

"No thanks."

"You're gonna want one after I'm done telling you." I lite my cigarette and gave Jade a look. She looked back, contemplating whether or no she should take one.

"Um, okay." She picked out the cigarette on the end and stuck it in between her teeth. I made sure to light it for her as a gesture of kindness but she blew the puff of smoke at my face. "Oops sorry babe."

I coughed and swat away the smoke. "It's okay."

"So should I be worried? What happened?"

"Okay so yesterday I yelled at her before I went to pick you and Louis up from school. When I got back she wasn't here until late at night which wasn't like her. Also she was drugged I guess. She was so out of the world and didn't know what was happening, plus she didn't have any emotions. This morning after I dropped you and Louis off, " I paused. She couldn't know about what I did after that. "I came back home and she had bruises on her and a gash on her arm. As soon as she saw me she started screaming until I hugged her."

"They used a gas didn't they?"

"What?"

"A gas. They used some type of gas to drug her and make sure she didn't remember what happened. The effects after it include sickness and hysteria."

"Oh I didn't know. She did mention a needle or gas but it's a gas now you told me. Anyway, all she remembers is a guy. He was taller than me, buff, and had black hair and blue eyes with pale skin." I waited for her to say something but she kept looking at me.

"What are you looking at me like that for?" She frowned.

"Jade! You don't remember?"

"Should I remember something?"

"Yes you should. It's eating me alive even though I know he's dead." I emphasized dead. Maybe that'd ring a bell.

"Dead? Is he someone from the Montana experiment?"

"No. I don't think so. There was someone there though. He had pale skin, and black hair. I can't remember if he was taller than me because I was fucking trapped in the shit cell the whole time. But he had black eyes and wasn't buff."
