Chapter One.

TAYLOR'S P.O.V

Images flashed through my head as I got suffocated with the blankets. Sweat dripped from my forehead. The red light switched to green. I knew what was going to happen. I rolled from the left to the right, bringing my blankets with me. I kicked and turned. I let whimpers out. "No please, no.". Tears formed in the corners of my eyes. Sitting there, just waiting to fall.......

"NOOOO! PLEASE!!!" I cried out.

Quickly after the lights flickered on, and my step-parents came rushing in. "Are you okay, sweetie? Was it the same dream, again, the one with the car crash." I tried to catch my breath so I just nodded. My mom hugged me, "Ay, mija, it's okay. Their in a better place." My dad sat on the other side of me, " Your mom's right. Hey, on a happier note, last day of school tomorrow!" My dad wiggled his eyebrows, and I smiled.

"Go back to sleep, cupcake." My dad said. I nodded. He turned off the lights and closed the door behind them. It took a while but I finally went to sleep at 1:27. That's the last number my eyes saw before drifting off to darkness.

RRRIIIIINNNGGGG!!!!! "Shut up!" I groaned as I covered my face with a pillow. I did my daily routine, you know, the brushing teeth, brushing my hair, blah, blah, I'm too tired to tell you the rest. Anyways, when I got to the car, I could tell something was up.

My mom would always talk about her job her friends, her life, and would always ask me about my life, but when I got to the car she was silent.

"Mom is something wrong?" I whispered

"Um, no sweetie, I'm just, um thinking." She replied.

That was the end of our conversation. The ride was quite amazing. The pinkish skies with the bright green plains. And the sun! Oh how beautiful was that orange sun! I concentrated on the clouds and their shape probably 79% of ride. What a view!

As I left , I swear that I saw a tear in mom's face. I waved but she just stood there hard as a stone.

I just shrugged it off and ran off to my friends. "Finally! Where were you!" Chelsea rolled her eyes. "Hey C, There's a party at Jake's tonight, you coming?" Savannah asked Chelsea. "Yep. You coming, Tay?" She asked me as she texted away. "Um if you guys are than I guess." They both were texting and didn't even listen to me, " Yeah, sure, Tay. See ya later." The both left and I heard Savannah mutter. "Ugh she's such a pain in the neck." Chelsea nodded, " And she looks emo."

I quickly put my hood on and ran in the rain and just danced. I just had a thing for rain. They called me 'The rain girl' in first grade because I always danced when it rained, and that happened often. Everyone would stare at me. But I didn't care. Now I care so I dance when everyone leaves.

But this time I felt I wasn't alone.
