The tension that arose the next morning was unintentional. Nicole was with Hermione, she looked a little pale and depressed. Seamus was nowhere to be find, Ron and Harry weren't in the common room either. Sighing, I sat down on the couch next to Hermione and Nicole, curious as to what was going on.

"Harry and her had a fight. One of their first major ones. " Hermione explained to me. This fact seemed to interest a couple Beauxbaton students and they whispered, chatting excitedly to each other. Hermione threw them a dirty look and whispered, "Why don't we talk somewhere else, so that they can't overhear."

Nicole and I nodded. "Yeah. And sorry mate." I whispered to Nicole. The three of us headed out of the common room and walked to a nearby classroom that wasn't being used and sat down.

"I am sure you two are dying to know about it. The first part of the night was fine and Harry and I left early to go to the common room. Well, we started talking and Harry got out his stupid, ruddy book yet again along with his theories of Malfoy being a death eater. He seems to be infatuated with his ideas and won't listen to me anymore. That's not even all of it...It's hard to explain. You remember what happened with Katie and stuff. Well it seems it's getting to the both of us and you can guess what happened next...I am sure it will blow over but Harry wasn't just my boyfriend; he was one of my best friends and so this hurts me even more, if you get what I mean."

"We're trying to." Hermione says, glancing at me. I felt a bit guilty; Harry's suspicions were true although I couldn't tell anyone that...Perhaps I could find another way to tell them without actually breaking my promise to Draco. I mean, they were fighting and it was something that could have been prevented.

"I am sure as well it will be okay. It sounds like you two need a little break..." I say, attempting a smile at Nicole. A break had done some good between Seamus and I. Although now I was kind of a mess since Draco meddled in. Oh have the times have changed lately.

Hermione nodded, "Yeah. Just have a little faith. Maybe I can try and talk to him later..." Nicole seemed a bit happier and soon the conversation shifted towards summer. The school year would be ending soon. And who knew what that could mean.

"I think I'll go for a walk," I say, getting up. "We have been in here a while and a chance to stretch sounds good."

The two nodded. "Okay. We'll meet you in the common room later." Hermione replies and turns back to Nicole; talking. Smiling, I exit the room and stopped a moment, debating on which way to turn to. After a moment, I headed straight.

I was just purely wandering around the castle of Hogwarts. People with their friends walked around and by me. They were laughing, gossiping, having a good time. Seamus was still nowhere to be found as well as Draco. Seamus was probably with Dean. Draco was who knows where. Wait a second, Seamus saw that Draco was a death eater, what if Harry found out? What would that mean for him now?

Would we ever catch a break from the drama? Fate seemed to like to terrorize us. The-

"Oi. Emma, my my my. So it is true." A voice calls from behind me. Huh? I had thought that I was alone. How much more wrong could I have been? Turning around I saw a tall, dark skinned boy with Slytherin robes. I had seen him hang around Draco a few times but they didn't appear to be close friends. In fact, it took me a moment to remember what his name was; Blaise Zabini.

"What is true?" I nearly mumbled, losing my confidence as I took a step away from Blaise. Butterflies filled my stomach but it wasn't a good feeling. Blaise wasn't the friendliest of sorts, even for a Slytherin, which defiantly wasn't a good thing.

"You are pretty," he replies, taking his hand in mine and it wasn't the way Draco or Seamus did it. "It is a shame we are here alone, eh? Where's your Seamus? Where's your Draco? Yeah I know of your secret meetings together-or I guess not so secret. You will keep quiet about this unless you want everyone to know your dirty little secret." Blaise smirked at me and I swore I nearly shuddered.

I thought faintly back to when something similar like this had happened with Draco. Did I have my wand? With my free hand I felt in my pockets for my wand. Pulling it out, I tried to free my other hand. Blaise smirked and knocked the wand from my hand, grabbing my other hand.

Glancing around I calculated whether or not I could escape...I could attempt it but the chances were pretty slim and I would have to get myself out of Blaise's death grip. There were a few classrooms down the hall but they were probably empty. Was another student around nearby somewhere? Could I possibly scream if there was one around to get their attention? Another fat chance. I couldn't hear anything besides Blaise and I.

Blaise was careful not to let go of me as he led me into a classroom. What we both didn't expect was what we saw next; Draco Malfoy.

Draco's eyes narrowed as he pulled out his wand and aimed it at Blaise within seconds. Blaise let go of me and got out his own wand in return.

"So it comes down to this?" Blaise sneers. Draco gives me a look that clearly says run! I did but my goal was to find a teacher to stop this madness! Before I exited a heard Draco's own reply, "Leave Emma out of this. If you want to get back at someone, get back at me."

"Pshh. I can get back at you any time I want. What would Seamus do if he found out about you and Emma?" Their voices resonated in my head as I nearly knocked down a small group of first year Gryffindors.

"Sorry!" I cried and turned around to see Professor McGonagall. I quickly told her what had happened and she told me to go up to the common room as she sorted it out...I left out some parts though about him threatening Draco about telling Seamus and Draco's other secret.

Once I made it back to the common room I noticed the large mass of people by the fire. There was Seamus, Dean, The Twins, Harry, Nicole, Ron and Hermione. They all appeared to be waiting for me. I sat down next to Nicole who was sitting next to Harry; it appeared that they were back to normal or at least on speaking terms again.

I nearly smiled at that but my friends serene faces stopped me from doing so. Did they-

"Are you okay Emma?" Seamus asks, eyeing me with concern. I nodded and he looked relieved. I obviously wasn't going to tell them about Blaise and Draco. No need to be concerned with it when we had other matters.

"I just told the others about Draco. Harry was right. I am sorry we had to find out the way that we did...Although I am happy Draco's gotten a detention."

"A detention? Why be happy about that? Why aren't you concerned. Since Harry is right that means Draco is up to something-something terrible I'd imagine." Hermione cut in.

"But what?" Nicole replied her voice almost silent. She shivered and looked at us then at Harry before her face softened. Harry wrapped an arm around her. "I suspect Dumbledore might be a part of Draco's plan. If you think about it with what happened with Katie..Draco is up to some old tricks but this time, they're deadly."

"Perhaps we should go to bed mate," Fred says.

"Yeah. It's getting late. Besides we can talk tomorrow and we will be able to think easier with a good night's sleep." George added.

"Oh alright." Harry says, yawning himself. "Let's go and sleep but tomorrow we aren't putting this off."

Seamus came over and kissed me goodnight before disappearing into his dorm. I headed to bed with Hermione and Nicole at my side.

"So are you and Harry good now?" I asked her. Hermione shot me a look but Nicole didn't mind the question. She nodded, looking flushed.

"Now he's just getting ready to rub it in our faces because he was right," She teased and laid down.

Hermione rolled her eyes but giggled.

They didn't know about Draco and I. No one did yet. Blaise's words filled my memory...If I was planning on getting any sleep, I was going to have to think again. Everyone in the dorm was asleep before I was. Draco better be okay was my last thought before my sleepiness finally caught up with me.
