****Flashback****
The car came to a screeching stop. I was in the back seat and my mom Rachel was in the the driver seat and my dad Rob was in the passenger seat. Today was Christmas eve we were heading to my grandmas house as we do every year. We where driving down a long black road with big green trees on either side. As the car came to jolting stop my heart began to pound harder and louder as i saw what the car was heading straight for. The small lexus ran straight into a tree.
****End of flashback****
That was the last thing i rememberd from that night on. I was only seven years old then i am know seventeen. My parents ended up dead in the fatal car accident. I was the only one who survived the accident my name is Angelica Sanchez but all my friends call me Angel. I have been in a in about five foster homes i am currently at an orphanage. This is my last year here if i dont get adopted within the year i will be kicked to the streets. I know no one would want to adopt a seventeen year old so im pretty much just accepting the fact that i will live on the streets for the rest of my life.
----------A week later----------
My case worker Jessica was in the kitchen when i walked in. She looked very happy actually a little to happy. I looked at her a bit more an then asked her whats up. She stood there for a while longer still with a big smile on her face showing off her perfectly straight white teeth. She then spoke up but i was so shoked at what she said i didnt understand what she ment and for her to repeat. She then talked nice and calmly and said that there is a family that wants to adopt me.
I stopped what i was doing and looked straight at her. I run up to her and hug her small body. Jessica is about 5'7 and weighs about 130lbs. She has dark brown hair to match her dark brown eyes just like me ,but im only 5'5and weigh 145lbs. I ask her when am i going to meet them. She said that we are going to drive up to their house this weekend. It was only monday so it gave me time to pack.
