"Angel? Are you awake? Oh, please be awake..." When my eyes opened, my vision was blurry. I was light-headed and dizzy. What happened? The last thing I remember is... "Look! Her eyes are open! She's awake!" What? Who is that? Everything is so hazy. "W-Where am I? What's that noise?" It was driving me crazy. "You're in the hospital, sweetie. The noise is your heart rate." I've always hated that stupid beeping noise. My eyes started focusing on everything around me. I looked at the people next to my bed, staring at me with watery, hopeful eyes. There was a woman, short and slender, with brown hair and deep brown eyes. She had a kind smile, too. There was also a young boy around my age, with dark, curly hair with brown eyes. He looked as though he had been crying for days. "Zach?" The boy's lips curved into a smile. "Angel? You remember me?!" He jumped on me and hugged me without missing a beat. "Ouch..." I flinched as he did. "Oh, I'm sorry. It's just the doctor said you might not make it, or that you would go into a coma. I was so worried!" He looked as though he would burst into tears again. "I don't understand. What are y'all doing here?" I thought they wouldn't want me anymore. "You're family, Angel. Once a member, always a member."
