Chapter 15: Bad Blake Is Back
~That night~
Chloe's Pov
I got out of the shower and wrapped a towel around myself. As I was about to open the door the lights went off in the bathroom.
It was completely dark, I couldn't see shit. I flipped the switch but the light wasn't coming on. I went into my room and seen my lamp was off. I walked to my bedroom door without tripping over anything.
I kept my hands on the wall and the furniture as I walked to the steps. I slowly went downstairs and none of the lights in the house would come on.
The power is off. First thing to do when your power goes off, look outside to see if everyone had the same problem. Sure enough the street lights were off and everyone's houses were dark. It was pitch black outside. Well, this is creepy, and here I am in a towel like some chick out of a horror movie.
Just then, I heard a noise coming from the kitchen. Oh my God. Why me? Please be nothing. Like the dumb girls in movies I go towards the noise.
I didn't see no one, but it was dark after all. I did notice that the back door was open. I rushed over there and locked it. Some people do like to do crazy things during a blackout.
Then I heard knocking at the front door. I finally make it to the door just tripping twice. I look out the peek hole and see no one. Ok, someone's messing with me.
I hear something upstairs, where I was just at might I add. Someone's in my damn house... sorry. I went over to the closet and felt around for the bat.... got it.
Yes, I have a baseball bat for these kind of situations. No, I don't play baseball. This bat has another purpose. Saving my life.
I really should've thought of grabbing my phone before I came down here. I was in the living room when I heard my phone ringing in my room.
Should I go get it and tell who ever it is to come get me... like now?
I know it's risky with the possibility of someone being in my house, and It sounded like someone was up there.
All of a sudden my phone stopped ringing and it was quiet. Screw it I'm going up there. I don't know what else to do.
I'm in the dark, can't see nuch, keep hearing noises in my house, knocking on my door when no one is there and it's dark outside, there's a chance I'd get attacked out there and I'm not going out there in just a towel.
I try to be quiet going up the steps. I get to my room and go to my nightstand where I left my phone. I didn't see it there.
I look around and see it on my bed, that's strange I didn't leave it there. Then I noticed a cool breeze coming from my open window that was closed earlier.
