"Thanks..." croaked Newt as he was handed some water.
Minho nodded in response and sat back down in his chair, "I want you to drink that whole bottle but go slow, you don't want to make yourself sick."
Newt nodded and began sipping the water, finding it more painful than soothing right now as it went down his dry and damaged throat. After a moment of drinking he looked to Minho, "...How long have I been out?"
"Two weeks."
The blond seemed a little surprised, "I um...I'm pretty sure that means I'm human." He added, then reached up one hand and felt at one of his incisors, "Yeah, I'm human."
The vampire laughed softly, glad to have Newt back more than ever. "Yeah. I've had some help from a friend's friend of mine. He's human and used to be a medic for Slayers. Without him I wouldn't have been able to keep you alive."
There was a moment of silence and Minho only had one other thing on his mind that he was worried about, "...I'm...I'm sorry about tricking you in the beginn--"
"--Don't." Newt interrupted.
Minho was a little surprised but was confused, "But I--"
"--Don't. I forgive you but it doesn't mean I'm not still angry or hurt over it. It doesn't mean I trust you anymore either."
Minho understood and nodded sadly, "...Okay..."
Once again, silence filled the somewhat tense air around them and Newt continued to sip his water, starting to get to the point where it didn't hurt as much to swallow. "...Are we still going...?" He eventually asked.
"What?"
"Are we still escaping and going to the mountains?"
Minho hadn't thought at all about that since everything that happened. His father had given orders to his men to not let the boys leave the house so that would mean it would be a whole lot harder to get out. Even more so with any supplies to help them along the trek. It's not exactly easy to sneak out long-distance travel back packs. "...I...I don't know...It's going to be a lot harder than before..."
"I'll help however I can." Newt suggested, obviously still very eager to get out of here. Can't imagine why. Minho thought to himself.
"No, you need to rest." He answered with a bit of firmness as he stood.
"Minho, I'm--"
Now it was the vampire's turn to interrupt, "--No. Not happening. Get some rest."
The human mumbled something Minho couldn't quite pick up and walked over, hesitantly and gently kissed Newt's forehead, "...I'll be back."
"Where are you going?"
"To talk to that friend and thank him for his help." Then Minho was gone, not bothering to lock the door behind him.

When another four days dragged on, Newt was getting anxious, despite the fact he was just barely halfway up to par in his health. He was still getting hydrated and his strength had gone kaput after the Changing, therefore he was having to work it back up on his own if he wanted any chance of being able to make it to the Gladers and the Right Arm.
Minho was more than worried about attempting to make this trip, but he had promised Newt. And after everything that guy had been through he more than deserved to get out of here and see his sister again. It was just going to be a much more difficult escape, there was a lot more pressure riding on Minho's shoulders.
