By Blaise Wisseling
I'm not going to crack
It's not going to happen
You can't make me look
I've already turned awayWhat about those stains? You ask
What stains? I say
All I see is the mess you created
I'm just an innocent bystanderYou cackle and wipe your hands
Innocent? You say
I gave you the gun
You pulled the triggerI did it because I had no choice
I did what I had to do
You had a choice, you tell me
And now you bear the scarsI'm not your puppet
If you think you can mess with me
Don't even bother
You've seen what I'm capable ofThat's why I chose you
A firecracker, that's what you are
You and I, we're alike
I wanted to choke the life out of youAnd just like that you disappeared
Running off like it was nothing
Leaving me alone with your mess
The wreck you dragged me intoWhen I close my eyes all I see is red
Your voice echoing in my head
Telling me to pull the trigger
I went deaf after the first shotYou can't make me crack
I'm already broken
You tell me I'm a raging blaze
And I hate you for watching me burn
