Once upon a time there was a girl. She was about 10 years old and looking her there wasn't anything special.
One day she walked around the park in the little town she lived in when she saw a man. He was about 25 years old and again you couldn't see anything special about him but with a second look you could see he was different from everyone else.
The girl sat down next to him but was to scared to start a conversation. 'He's older than me. He will start the conversation, right?' she thought to herself. But he didn't say anything.
The girl looked at him. He didn't look back. "Hello" she finally said. He looked at her but didn't say anything.
Instead of feeling weird the girl felt comfortable. She felt that there's more about him to know. She always loved to talk to new and interesting people, so she wanted to seem interesting too.
"Do you believe in magic?" the little girl said and the guy shook his head. "Why not?" But he still didn't answer.
People walked past and gave them a confused look. The girl didn't care. "Well...do you believe in ghosts?" He shook his head again. "Unicorns?" He shook his head. "Aliens?" He thought about it for a second but shook his head again.
'He's an adult think of something better!' the girl thought about it for some minutes. "Do you believe in love?" He shook his head. The girl was surprised. Everyone she asked that question before said yes.
Suddenly the guy stood up and walked away but the girl walked after him. She wanted to know who he was. "Do you believe in god?" she said. He shook his head and kept walking. "In Monsters?" He shook his head. "In Harry Potter?" He looked at her with a raised eyebrow and continued walking. "Do you believe in yourself?" she asked out of breath.
He had longer legs and it was hard to keep track. He shook his head again but stopped walking. "What do you believe in then?" He kneeled down to have a better look at her. "I believe in people like you." The girl didn't understand. What did he mean? "I believe that one day people are nice and more excepting and that they questions things or other human beings." She still didn't get what he was saying. "You're a special little girl" he said and made his way home.
