She grabbed a shard of glass. She gripped it so tightly it cut her. She couldn't feel it. Her adrenaline was coursing through her veins and she felt her pupils dilate. She pressed her back against the hard seats of the bus and waited for Suga to come back. There was a loud thud. She began to tremble violently, but she didn't make a sound. She just kept her eyes on the door. She felt tears streaming down her face, but she didn't make a move. Suga jumped onto the bus and ran over to her. His shoes crunching of the shards of glass. He crouched down in front of her and carefully removed the glass from her hand. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her up.

"We have to go now." He pulled her off the bus and they ran.

"How did you..." She couldn't finish. She could only see that bus driver slumped on the seat, blood pooling beside him.

"I saw him out the window. He was Yakuza I could tell by the tattoos. He looked at me, then he pulled out a gun. So I pushed you down." Suga yelled behind him. He pulled her into their building and they ran up the steps to the loft. She said nothing. She just willed her legs to keep moving. Just keep moving.

They trudged into the living room and everyone stood up.

"What..." Jin breathed.

"I'll explain in a second." Suga pushed her into their room and he closed the door. He walked her into the bathroom and pulled of her jacket, throwing it into the bath tub.

"You need to change, you've got glass all over you." He murmured.

"You too." She nodded. He pulled off his jacket and his shirt and threw it in the tub. She pulled off her shirt and threw it, along with her pants. Suga followed. She looked up at him for what was next. He blushed and looked away,

"I'll go get us clothes." He mumbled. She couldn't think. Everything in her mind was blank. All she could see was the bus driver and V. Lifeless, limp, slumped, the blood, the stench. She felt the tears fall, but she didn't care. She felt the blood drip off her fingers, but the pain blocked out her thoughts. Suga returned, dressed and handed her a shirt. She pulled in on and he took her bleeding hand. He turned on the faucet and cleaned her hand gently. He bound it tightly and let go of her hand. She let it fall to her side limply. He kissed her cheek, but she barely felt it. He pulled her back into their bedroom and sat her down on the bed.

"I'll be right back." He promised. She nodded and laid down. Two people had died because of them. Why did they have to die? Why?

She woke up with an intense headache. The pain was excruciating and it waved through her head. Suga was sitting up beside her. She cried out in pain. Suga leaned over her.

"Nari, what's wrong?" She sobbed because of the pain and pressed a hand to her forehead. She didn't dare open her eyes more than slits. Blood flashed across her brain until she felt like she had been bathed in it. She grabbed Suga's shirt and pulled him down on top of her. She pressed her face into his chest and breathed deeply.

"What's wrong?" He murmured.

"He's dead." She sobbed. She felt the weight of it all crash down on her full force. She had pushed it away for so long. But now she was out of strength. She felt a stabbing pain in her gut. She was hungry. He placed a hand on her hip and buried his lips in the top of her head. He used his other hand to steady himself. She gripped his shirt tightly and sobbed loudly. Sobbing her her head. But she couldn't escape the pain anymore. She had to take it. Take it so it would go away.

So things would get better.
