He held her hand as they walked down the street. She pulled her hood down over her face and used her hair to hide herself. Suga brought his hood up over his baseball cap and kept his eyes low. They didn't want to be seen. They slipped through the shadows and into a convenience store. They would get their food here now, it was closer to the loft. They also needed to pick up some Advil. Jin had caught her cold, and Jungkook was catching it. She could tell Suga was getting it too, but he wouldn't admit it. Suga coughed quietly and went to go get the medicine. She grabbed some junk food off the shelves, it was all they had here.
"Nari?" The voice seemed very familiar. She ignore it at first.
"Nari is that you?" A hand rested on her shoulder. She recognized the voice now, it was Luhan. She turned to face him and gave him a small smile.
"Hello." She waved and went back to grabbing food.
"Where have you been? You don't come to school anymore, and I think your parents are looking for you." Luhan grabbed her shoulder and turned her to face him.
"No, everything is fine. I moved schools, that's all." She explained curtly.
"Then shouldn't you be in school now?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Shouldn't you?" She countered.
"Down!" Suga hissed. She instinctively crouched down and covered her head.
"How did they find us?" She whispered.
"Who?" Luhan asked.
"I don't know but we have to go." Suga ignored Luhan.
"Okay." She threw the bags of food back on the shelves and stood, hunching her shoulders.
"Nari what's going on?" Luhan began to follow them. Suga grabbed his arm and twisted it backwards. Luhan cried out in pain.
"Shut up and don't follow us." Suga growled.
"It's for your own safety." She assured him. She linked arms with Suga and they walked out of the store. Leaving a distraught Luhan in their wake.
There was only one person following them. Tattoos licked up onto his neck and the insignia was plain to see on his jacket.
"Turn in to the next alley you see and go to the end. I'll wait by the entrance and catch him." Suga murmured, keeping his eyes forward. She nodded. Every time they went out now, there was always Yakuza. She clenched her fists and turned into the alley sharply. She walked to end and turned around. The man entered the alleyway, completely missing Suga. Suga grabbed both of the man's arms and twisted them behind his back. Suga pushed him down to the ground and held him down tightly. She approached him cautiously.
"What do you want?" She asked.
"What?" The man looked up at her, startled. Suga tighter his grip and pulled the man's arms back as far as they would go. He cried out in pain, and Suga kept his face stone still.
"Why are you here?" She asked forcefully.
"You." The man grimaced.
"Me?" She asked taken aback.
"Yeah. I'm supposed to bring you back. You've got a bounty." The man attempted to break free from Suga unsuccessfully.
"I see. Nothing to do with him?" She asked, gesturing to Suga.
"No. But I think there's others. Let me go!" The man hollered. Suga let him go and swiftly kicked his head. The man fell down heavily, knocked out. Suga grabbed her wrist and tugged her down the street.
"Tell me later. We need to get off the streets." He hissed. She nodded. She would tell him, if she knew.
"Why would they want her?" Jimin asked.
"I don't know." She shook her head.
"I think he's lying." Jin murmured.
"Why?" Jungkook asked.
"He's Yakuza. He wouldn't just tell anyone what his mission was. They're trained to keep their mouths shut." Rapmon explained.
"Yeah, but why say that?" J-Hope asked.
"That's my question. That wouldn't bring down our guard." Suga mused. Suddenly the phone rang. She stood and went to go answer it.
"Hello?" She asked slowly.
"Nari! Honey is that-" She slammed the phone down, hanging up. How had her mother gotten this number? She grabbed some scissors from a door and cut the phone wire.
"Who was that?" Jimin asked.
"My mom." She mumbled.
"How'd she get this number?" Jin leaned forward.
"I don't know. I think that guy, I think he said that to distract us. We thought he was knocked out, and we were too busy trying to figure out what he meant. Maybe that's how. He followed us." She suggested.
"No he was out cold." Suga insisted. She shrugged,
"But why would they be after me?"
"And we're back where we started." Rapmon sighed. She narrowed her eyes at him and he stared back at her stonily.
"Luhan!" Suga burst.
"Huh?" Jungkook furrowed his brow.
"That little shit followed us. That's how!" Suga yelled angrily.
"Do you think he really would've?" She asked.
"Yeah he was pretty sore about getting beat up. I wouldn't put it past him." Jimin shrugged.
"I'm sure he meant the best." J-Hope mumbled.
"Whatever that little shit meant, he's fucking everything up. No one can know where we are. We can't risk that. I can't lose you guys." Jungkook's voice was constricted, like his throat was swollen.
"We're family." Jin agreed, putting an arm around Jungkook's shoulders. Suga's hand searched for hers and he gripped her hand tightly. He leaned over slightly and whispered,
"Do you think your gramma set the Yakuza after you?" He was barely audible. Her eyes widened and she tensed. He was right. That was it. It had to be.
That bitch.
