She didn't object and ran with me. I put as much distance away from that killer and us as I could. It seemed like I ran forever when my legs started to burn and I couldn't breathe. Jade added weight behind me when she started loosing energy. My body wanted to give up, but my brain didn't. I tried to keep running when I felt Jade completely stop behind me. As much as she didn't want to run, I pulled her to me and ran some more. He's here and I am not crazy. She has to believe me.

"Harry stop please." I heard her pant rather heavily behind me.

"It's not Harry its Fire." I squeezed her hand as hard as I could. "We can't stop."

"What do you mean?" She shook her hand around. When I didn't respond she got mad. "Fire what the fuck do you mean? Can you please explain to me what in the world just happened?"

"I-"

"Let go of my hand you're killing it." I didn't notice how hard I was clutching it until I looked at it. Jade rubbed her hands together. "Please can we just sit on the swings and talk. I don't think anyone will know we're here considering there's literally no life right now."

Her words soothed me only a little. I didn't even realize we came to a full stop in front of a park, nor did I realize that there weren't any cars passing by. There were little apartments around the corners and next to the park which means someone could come out here if that fucker found us. I frowned my brows and went to sit in a swing next to Jade. Deep breaths calmed me down more.

"Babe please tell me what happened. It scared me. You're never like that."

"I saw him Jade."

"Who?"

"The guy from Montana. Black hair black eyes pale skin tall and skinny. He he was l-"

"He's dead. Your mom said he had blue eyes and was buff. That could've just been someone else. I saw him too."

"No but Jade, please believe me. He was looking at us. Straight at us."

"I don't want to believe you but something else is telling me I have to."

"You have to Jade. I need to make sure you're safe."

"I am safe. I can protect myself too. You don't know how much I went through in my life and it all involved me protecting myself. I can do this alone if I had to. Now we're together and together nothing will happen."

I sighed deeply, "I know. I'm sorry I just feel like you need a break from everything attacking the shit out of you so I want to be there for you."

"Don't worry. I'm going to be by your side forever."

"I will too. I love you." Finally after a while I felt calm. There was still wind blowing around and the clouds kept rolling by.

"Do you think my dads still out there? Running somewhere or maybe settled down?" Jade said quietly.

"I hope he's not alive. He doesn't deserve to be alive Jade. All those things he did made him deserve to rot in hell."

"Harry what about your sister? I remember you told me about her once when you braided my hair. Remember that day?" She softly smiled.
