Chapter 1 'Seriously Mom?!'

"Are you ready to go?" My dad asks me as I zip up my last suit case. "Yeah!" I reply. I live in the country with my dad, This summer I'm going to visit my mom in the city. I have 2 months to spend there and each Sunday mom is making my go to Church. Luckily, I'm a good girl and I like Church.

I'm your average teenage girl. I don't drink, do drugs, or get pregnant and a young age, My parents should be proud of me, but really I don't think they are.

All I ever do is sit on my computer read stories, blog, watch videos, fan girl, write songs, or work on homework. I'm pretty boring as you have read. I'm not the prettiest girl either.

"Hurry up then!" My dad shouts from downstairs. "Oh sorry!" I yell back as I grab my stuff and start heading out of my bedroom.

When I get downstairs, I can see through the door window that my mom is waiting for me outside. I put my stuff down and hug my dad. "Bye, Sierra." He says. "Bye, dad." I grab my stuff as he opens up the door for me. "Thanks." I say as I walk out and head to my mom's car.

She unlocks it and pushes it open. "Hi sweetie! Its been forever!!" I roll my eyes at my mom's comment and ignore my temptation to say something rude, after all, she can ground me, and who wants to be grounded during the summer?

I realize I probably look stupid because I still havent said 'Hi' yet. I'm obviously not in the human race. "Hi." I reply quickly not caring how retarded I must sound.

"That took a long time to respond, hunny, whats on your mind?"

"Nothing. Nothing at all." I reply. "Oh okay.."

Mom pulls into a huge driveway with a pretty decent big house. "Woah." I say as I look at it. She opens up the garage door and pulls in. "I know, your room is the second floor, to your left. If you wanna go check it out." She says as she pulls the keys out of the car.

"OF COURSE I DO!" I say as I jump out of the car and run inside. I run up the stairs and take a left just like mom said, but I lose balance and end up running into my bedroom door.

"OUCH!" I scream, my nose dripping blood. "HUN! ARE YOU OKAY?!" My mom shouts from down stairs and I hear a door slam closed. The next thing I know my moms upstairs with me.

"Let me take care of that, follow me."

"Seriously, mom?! I can take care of myself." I snap. I'm in a bad mood okay?

She gulps, "Yeah okay." She replys to me. "The first aid kit is in the bathroom." She says as she points to the door.

I head into the bathroom and grab some toilet paper and hold it against my nose. "OUCH!" I scream again.

"SIERRA!! WAKE UP! YOU HAVE TO BE READY FOR CHURCH!" A familiar voice shouts to me. I do the whole feel the blanket, where am I kind of thing people do in the movies and then I remember, I'm at moms house, for the ENTIRE summer.

I get out of bed and put on a white long sleeve shirt, a black vest to go over the shirt, black skinny jeans and my converse.

I walk into the bathroom and thankfully, my nose feels better. I take my long blonde hair out of its bun and brush it, then I brush my teeth. "Do you want anything to eat?" My mom asks me as she stand at the door way of the bathroom. "No thank you." I say but it sound like I said: "No crank two." Because I said it while brushing.

"Okay well hurry up then because I'm going to drop you off there and then head to work." She says as she turns and walks out of the bathroom.

I follow behind her.

I open up the door to moms red car and get in.

"Seatbelt." She reminds me.I put my seatbelt on and she starts up the car. ROAR it says. I feel as if I was five years old again and wanted to roar back at the car, but I realized how childish that would be.

IDIOT SIERRA, REAL IDIOT.

I enjoy the pretty view of the city as she drive. Mom pulls infront of a beautiful huge church and turns to face me. "Here we are." She says. "Wow.." I mumble under my breath. "Beautiful isn't it?" "Ugh.. Yeah." I reply as I unclick my seatbelt.

"Okay well have fun!" She says as I hop out of the car. I slam the door, take that as a reply, mom.

I stand infront of the the huge Church, I turn back to see if moms still there, but shes gone.

No turning back now, Sierra.

I gulp and head inside with the rest of the people.
