Riley's P.O.V
How the hell did I get home was the first thing that came to my mind . Unfortunately for my train of thought was cut of by the ringing of my phone.
  
use to call me on my cellphone....

. I got up out of my bed to answer my phone.

"Hello, Riley speaking."

"Hey Riley, this is Chase. We heard that you got chased by some bad people."

"Yeah it wasn't that bad."

"As long as you're alright. I know it's your day off but can you come to the station to fill out some paperwork?"

"Yeah that's fine, I'll be there in about half  hour."

"Okay, see you when you get here."

"Bye", I said hang up the phone.

I sighed deeply, then slowly pulled the covers off and  got out of bed. I ran to the bathroom, showered fixed my hair and slipped into my clothes. I looked at my watch and saw that it was 8:30, I had at least 40 minutes to spare. I grabbed my camera bag , my wallet and jacket then looked at myself in the mirror. I have to say I look good . Not too casual and not to formal. I had on a white shirt that said Calvin Klein, my black leather jacket, some khaki pants and black vans.  I got my keys to my motorcycle . Just before I left my apartment I noticed a envelope on the coffee table that had my name on it in be red letters. It read ,
Dear Riley I hope this finds you well just to let you know I have eyes everywhere so be a good boy ,from yours truly

So he was indeed watching me that not creepy at all I sighed.

I arrived at work on time for once.I walked through the doors and  was met with a bone crushing hug from my best friend, Kim.

"Kim, I can't breath."

"Riley, don't scare me like that! I got a call that said you  tried to jumped off a building!"

"Kim, calm down I was actually successful.

" Thank the heavens you weren't,There you go again, doing crazy things. You're one lucky kid, but don't push it."

"Okay, got it."
Honestly I was going to play it safe wasn't trying to run into him any time soon. As I walked to my desk i glanced at Chas's evidence chart,
"Chase, who is that guy?"

"That man is William Tate. He owns the club you were at a couple of nights ago."
So that's who he was I thought.

"They asked me about my mom chase, why would they do that ?"

"Listen Riley your mom was caught up in something bad and it better if you leave it alone and bye all means they away from them."

He chooses to be parental now.

"Alright then, what about this William Tate, is he really in the bad of a guy ?"

  The rumor thats going around the  department is that he's the leader of the Blood Crest Mafia aka the Italians but it hasn't been confirmed ," Chase said as he looked over at his computer screen.

"You'd best watch your back around him Riley. He's a very power full person he got many friend in the buisness world and I even hered that he's got conection to the white house"

Oh shit . I knew this guy was bad news but... ugh great more unnecessary stress.

"With the little experience, you got this case is  out of your league. If you keep doing things like this you might have a target planted on your back.

"You really know how to motivate someone, Chase."
I couldn't tell chase that I already had one, I don't want to drag him into my mess.
"I just tell it like it is."

"Whatever."

"Okay guys, I'm going to head out; I got things to do."

"Wait! Riley, I have a job for you," Kim called.

"What is it?"

"Before I tell you, you have to promise me that you won't screw this up, that you won't get caught and you'll be safe."

"Yeah, sure...whatever."

"Riley that's not good enough, look into my eyes and promise me. "

"OK! Okay, I promise."

"We just got some information that tonight at Time square, a large scale drug deal is supposed to take place. So will you do it?"

"I'll take it," I said as I walked off to the parking lot.
