Well hello there. My name is Jade Hales. Weird name I know. So heres my story. I live in a pre-owned one story home. Is there a reason the people moved out? Yuck. My parents lost both their jobs in the last city we lived in. Yep were not exactly rich anymore. I have to start my junior year at this school with spoiled, snotty son of a guns they call students, from what I here. Lol. And the suckiest part about it is that we start tomorrow! Ugh I know. The thing is, no one can know about my life. I've pretty much checked all my options. Number 1: I can ignore everyone and not make any friends but we all know thats not gonna happen! Number 2: I can becom a nerd so no one notices me, but I dont wanna spend my last two years of high school being invisible. So all that was left was option Numer 3: Lie.
My plan is to pretend to live the way im used to living. If you think about it, it's not much of a lie. I mean I just wont let anyone come over or find out too much about me. My problems will then be solved. Right?
Before I could change my mind, I walked out of my room and into the kitchen to get me some lemonade. As I was pouring, my sister Amy jumped up from behind the counter with brown wide open eyes and screamed like she was just raped.
"AHHHHHH!!!!" I dropped the whole freaking bottle of lemonade. "What the crap?!!!" I yelled. She kept laughing. "What do you want?" I asked.
"This" she said taking my lemonade and walking away.
"You dip!! Give it back!"
"No."
"Your cleaning this up!" I want to strangle her. Hard. That was our last bottle too.
"Whatever." Amy muttered. She waved a hand through her dark auburn hair. I hate how I'm older than her but shes taller than me. Just because shes taller than me doesn't mean she should always get what she wants. Amy is so stubborn and annoying I swear.
I grabbed a bottled water and headed to the living room to watch a recording of degrassi. Damn. My feet were sticky! As the show got intense, I thought to myself, I really hope school wont be like that. So many people on that show were gay, lesbian, pregnant, or crazy. If you think about it, almost everyone on that show has a problem. The show ended and I stretched. I felt something crawling on my arm. I thought it was just my hair. It kept moving. So I looked down. It was a spider and it was huge.
"EWWW! Dad please come here!!" I flicked at it but it stayed on with its web. Stubborn freaking spider!
"Kim get the vacume." my dad ordered. What the hell? A vacume? Just kill it!
"Just get a napkin and kill the darn thing!" I snapped.
"Here Steve" my mother handed him a napkin. Its about time!
He got it and I heard it crack. Nasty.. "I hate this house." I ran to my room and noticed Amy laughing at what just happened. I got a towel and went to take a shower. I finished and dried myself. "Spiders.......ugly little.........hate it here......never again......ugh......school." I muttered all my thoughts while walking to my room. I plugged my ipod into the speakers and managed to relax and find an outfit for tomorrow. I searched through my majorly stashed closet and found just what I needed. For a top I picked a loose, low cut, floral blouse. For bottoms, I picked out a nice pair of shorts with a really cute pocket design. My shoes are brown boot/heels that give the perfect vintage look. To top it all off, a pair of big sunglasses. The whole outfit says: You can look, but dont touch ;)
Before I know it the time reaches nine thirty. I set my alarm and get ready for bed. The last thing I remember thinking was, man I hope I don't screw this up.
