Yn POV
I woke up the next morning and just sat on the side of the bed. Tell me yesterday didn't happen. I felt betrayed. As I reached for my phone on the nightstand, I saw a piece of paper that wasn't there before. I grabbed it, I saw it was from Daniel. Wait, that must be how I ended up in bed. I swear even when I'm mad at him, he tries to make me smile. Reading his letter, I didn't know what to feel. Part of me wanted to believe him and the other wanted to forget him. I decided to go for a run, clear my head.
20 minutes into my run, I heard someone calling my name.
?: "Yn!"
I turned around and a familiar face approached me.
Yn: "Justin? Justin Combs?"
Justin: "Yeah, it's me. How have you been?"
He embraced me in a hug and we started walking in the direction I was running.
Yn: "I've been good. Living life, you?"
Justin: "Same just out here visiting a friend. It's been a long time since the last time I saw you."
Yn: "Yeah it's been a crazy few years."
Justin: "I can't tell. You still look as good as the last time I saw you."
As we walked and talked, we reminisced. I met the Combs' when we were younger at a charity event. Justin and I had gotten married under a tree a few months after that hahaha. We lost touch over the years but now here we were.
Justin: "So anybody interesting in Baby Blake's life," he asked, laughing.
Yn: "Shut up ugly," I said playfully pushing him.
He pulled me into him, wrapping his arms around me.
Justin: "I missed you shorty."
Yn: "I missed you too."
I couldn't lie, Justin was a great person to be around and I did miss him. In that moment, I swear he wanted to kiss me but changed his mind.
Justin: "So still at that smarty pants school of yours?"
Yn: "Hahaha no but you would know that if you hit me up more. I graduated last year."
Justin: "I forget little Blakey ain't so little no more."
He pulled me to a bench and we continued talking there. I caught him looking me up and down so I asked him what was up.
Justin: "My bad it's just you turned out even better than I thought."
Yn: "Jay quit being such a perv."
Justin: "My bad. I apologize but I know you hear that a lot."
Yn: "Nope. Little Blakey don't get as much play as you think."
Justin: "Lies."
Yn: "I'm serious."
Justin: "Maybe I can change that."
Yn: "Mhmm. That's what your mouth say."
Justin: "Hahaha I'm serious but I'ma let you get back to your run. Maybe we can grab dinner or something before I leave out of here."
We exchanged numbers and went our separate ways. I didn't think nothing of it but I was about to find out who did.
Diggy POV
I woke up the next morning with a headache so I took some Advil and laid back down. As I was falling back asleep, my phone rung.
Diggy: "What's up?"
Rus: "I know you probably don't want to hear this right now but you need to go check out shaderoom."
Diggy: "Why?"
Rus: "Just go do it."
I went ahead and went on shaderoom's Instagram.
Diggy: "So what am I suppose to be seeing?"
Rus: "The first picture."
I clicked on it and tried to absorb what I saw. Was this Yn with the oldest Combs child? It couldn't be, could it? They were all hugged up and smiling as if they were a couple. As I kept staring at this picture, I didn't know whether to be pissed or hurt.
Rus: "Dig?"
Diggy: "Let me call you back."
Rus: "Don't do nothing stup..."
I hung up before he could finish. Looking at the picture again, I scrolled down to the caption.
"New boo for Justin Combs? Our cameras caught these two getting friendly outside of a local park in NJ. Sources say that the girl is non other than Joshua Blake's daughter. Guess daddy's little girl is all grown up."
I threw my phone and got up. I pulled on a shirt and some sweats and grabbed my keys. I was really pissed now. Was she serious? Was this her way of getting back at me?
By the time I got to her house, I felt betrayed as hell. Her car was in the driveway so I went ahead and let myself in. She wasn't there so I waited in her room. 10 minutes later, I heard the front door open.
Yn: "Daniel?!"
I heard her call my name but I didn't budge. Shortly after, she appeared in the doorway with a weak smile on her face.
Yn: "Hey," she said as she made her way over to me and sat down.
Diggy: "What's up?"
Yn: "What's up? Not the response I was expecting."
Diggy: "Where were you?"
Yn: "I went for a run. Why are you acting so weird?"
Diggy: "That's all? Nothing interesting?"
Yn: "Just spit it out."
I stood up and faced her.
Diggy: "So you're very comfortable with being seen out in public with a Combs than me, huh?"
Yn: "What are you talking about?"
Diggy: "Don't do that! Don't try and play me like I'm stupid!"
She stood up, inches away.
Yn: " No one's playing you but you damn sure aren't about to talk down on me as if I am a child."
Diggy: "Answer the question then!"
Yn: "You know what? I had plans of forgiving you but the way you just came at me, you can forget about it! I should be the one who's pissed right now! Not you! Get the fuck out now!"
Diggy: "Fine!"
Yn: "Fine!"
I stormed out and sat in the car until I saw her looking at me from her bedroom window. All I saw was anger in her eyes before she walked away. I drove off, pushing the gas and I didn't care. I was so focused on getting away, I didn't see the headlights until it was too late...
I know this chapter was super short, or at least shorter than the last ones but OMG 😮😮😮
