Shion x nezumi

[ shion and nezumi are from an anime called no. 6, one of my personal favorites, if you haven't watched it please do like right now ]

My hand reached towards the salt as Nezumi inched into the leaving room. I had been up for a few hours and I was currently enjoying myself as I made eggs in my pink apron, a present from my mom for Christmas last year.

After our whole expedition and Safu dying I left Nezumi and returned to my mom, I only spent about three months with her before I had to see him again, me and Nezumi have now been living with each other for about two years, making visits to my mom for holidays.

"What's that? It smells good" Nezumi sat on the couch and pet the dog that we had named Arvie, it was good for him to have a name since he visited us so often.

"An egg omelet, my mom taught me how make them" I smiled at him, seeing his excited reaction, even if it wasn't much seeing him happy made me feel amazing.

Nezumi

After breakfast I changed into my usual outfit, me and Shion were going to walk to the market and maybe even stop to see Dog keeper. I opened the door for him and we started down the hall, as we walked the silence was broken by Shion.

"I wonder what the market will have today, maybe even ingredients to bake a cake!! I haven't had one in a while, have you ever had a cake Nezumi?"
He turned towards me, grabbing my hand as he stared happily into my eyes. There it was again the feeling of vulnerability, I gulped, he had a way of making me feel weak, but some how it made me feel good.
"No, it would be nice to have one, especially if it's made by you"
I smiled softly, intertwining my fingers with his. It had been so nice living with him, I missed him so much when I had to leave, I thought about him every day, hoping he was safe and doing well.

Shion

I hoped the market had sugar, it was sometimes difficult to come by, now that the government didn't supply it for you. As me and Nezumi walked out of the hall and out into the open expanse of hills and now green fields that spread until the eye could see, I saw the morning sun just above the rubble from the wall.

"Wow it's such a beautiful day Nezumi!"
He laughed and smiled at how excited I was, putting his hand in his coat pockets.
