Falling

    She felt as if she was flying, the wind rushing through her long golden brown hair, and her big, wandering eyes pinched closed as the wind knocked against her face.

   Aimee always had enjoyed the feeling of fresh air quizzing past her ears and the sun beaming across her face as she stepped outside, but this time was different.

   She felt the cool atmosphere change as she plummets closer, and closer to the end of the fall. And she was not enjoying the feeling of her sudden immediate death moving faster and faster towards her.

Aimee's pov:
   I opened my mouth to scream, but only the small, shrill sound of a shriek lets out as I start to make out details of the landing target in which I'd soon be splattered upon.

   A single tear slips out of the corner of my eye, traveling down the side of my wind stricken cheeks.

   I remember how my older brother used to train me how to protect myself against the soldiers if they ever tried to harm me, he'd push me down into the dirt whenever I'd show any sign of weakness.

   But in the end, he'd give into my tears and help me up, wiping away my tears reluctantly and reassuring me it would all be okay, and that he'd protect me.

  But if that was true, where is he now? Where is he now that I need him? When I need him to wipe away my fear, and hold me tighter into his warm chest, whispering his words of encouragement and love.

  These are my last thoughts of my brother before the impact of the wind against my body becomes too much, and my mind swallows me up into a dark slumber, without the pain.

~>~ sorry for the short chapter, wanted to somewhat begin the story and introduce the main character before I had to sleep, it was highly rushed and not well proof read.. But I hope you enjoyed it never less annnnd yeah. This is my fan fiction based upon the anime tv series Fairy tail.
