MARSHALL LEE's POV
It was autumn, and in autumn there's always a science fair. You didn't have to go and check out who won because you knew who won almost every single one. Gumball. That big brain of his might just explode one day. At least I hope so. Well, I was off to the Candy Kingdom in the Land of EEE. "Hey! Wassup Marshall Lee?" said Fiona as she punched my arm lightly. "I'm off to Gumball's science fair..what are you up to?" I replied.
"Im going to the science fair too."
"Oh really? Where's Cake?"
"Cake's being a bum so I'm going without her."
"Haha. Ok."
I knew Fiona broke up with Flame Prince or Flame Prince broke up with her. She's not having a good time but I know she'll be fine. The first time I met her, i thought "She's kinda cute" but she's way too young for me. And we both know that. We arrived at Gumball's castle and saw him waving at us.
"Hey Fiona! Marshall!"
"Hey Gumball!" Fiona replied. "I'm gonna go and head inside, meet you guys there."
"Ok. Cool." I said.
"Ready to find out who will win this year?!"
"Gumball, it's obviously you and that big brain of yours."
"Says you. There's more smarter people coming! And I'm really nervous.."
"Yeah, yeah. You'll be fine Gumbutt.." I chuckled.
We went inside and found seats beside Fiona. The judges announced people's names and wrote stuff down on the paper attached to their clipboards. "Gumball!" shouted one of the judges. Gumball nervously walked up the stage and totally blew the judges heads off. It's too boring to explain so just imagine something yourself. Fiona and I high-fived him while he got his 20th gold medal. After everything was over, we all headed home.
When I arrived at my place, I kept thinking of Gumball. No. I hate that guy. That..smart, cute guy. No! What's wrong with me?! I went to my room and shoved my face into my pillow. Do I like him..? No way! This is jealousy! It's totally jealousy. I'm jealous of him because he's smarter than me. That's better. I calmed down and started to relax. I thought I was going insane.. Then I fell asleep.
