"Are you sure you're ready for this task?"
"As sure as I'll ever be" I gulp, tugging nervously at my shirt.
"You are not to harm anyone." I look up to the woman currently giving me instructions.
"Do you think I'll have the heart to harm anyone?"
"Are you sure you don't?" I roll my eyes.
"Just get on with it."
"You are not to be seen in your current form." She says in a very motherly voice.
"I get it!"
"Alright. The portal will remain open until you get back. Make sure you're the last one through."
"Yes Professor Kendra."
"Then off you go." Professor turns to her right, flicks her hand in that direction and a soft light appears. It continues growing brighter until both of us have to block our eyes. When the light subsides back to a dull glow, we uncover our faces and turn to the portal, which just looks like an ordinary door. I walk over to the opening and place my hand on the handle. I allowed myself one last glance back to where Professor Kendra stands, who gives me a soft smile and signals for me to pass through. With a deep breath, I turn the knob and embark on my first task.
