Chapter 1: Come with me

Their lips were touching each other so passionately and so slowly, it looked like the movie scene before they have sex. Gross! I can't believe I'm going to be late because of this, what ever this is. I'm supposed to be heading to French class not here waiting for a French kiss to end.

The warning bell rang." Veronica lets go, were going to be late!" I told her so we can get to class. She just signaled me to go away," that's it, lets go Missy!" I barked as I grabbed my best friends hand and pulled her apart from her man crush Monday since we were in 7th grade.

" Fernando! I'll be waiting at lunch same time same place!" She told him as we began to jog to class. Our French class was just down the hall from his guitar thing class, did I mention he's good at the guitar I mean really good at playing his guitar." Alex if your such in a hurry, why didn't you just go without me?" I gave her a look like she forgot the promise we made about going together to each class we have together or close to each other." Oh yeah sorry it slipped my mind I was thinking about his tight ripped jeans and his BVB shirt," she said as we walked into class. Once we were seated, the bell rang and the teacher walked into the class and started saying," please turn to your neighbor and talk about today's weather while I take these paper to the office."

As soon as he left," so what's up with you and Fernando?" She asked me, my response was a face that signed "wtf". " You don't seem to like him, I mean it looks like you hate him and want me to dump him," she said as if we were in a fire and she wasn't sure who was gonna make it out alive.

"I don't think he's perfect for you, its just I don't get a good vibe from him and I never want to see you unhappy," I began to write down some words in French.

"Oh I know what this is about, your just angy because Rosy dumped you last week. I'm sorry, but doesn't mean the same will happen with me, I mean you guys didn't even kiss or ...." I put my headphones on and "she keeps me warm" Mary Lambert. About three minute later Mr. M came in and started talking bout French and stuff the whole class time. At the end he called up Veronica and told her to talk about the weather in Massachusetts, like if she knows anything about Massachusetts. She got up and walked up with a blank sheet of paper." Um..." The bell rang right before she embarrassed herself." Oh yes thank god saved by the bell!" She said with a smile. As everyone started to leave Mr. M called Veronica to go to his desk, she said OK but turned to me and said," tell Fernando that I will take a while and if I take a long time tell him I won't make it." I nodded and walked out.

As I walked away from class and got closer to the cafeteria, I wonder how I'm going to tell Fernando that his girl ain't gonna make it. See when you're in Mr. M's web, there's no way to escape, just wait and die or just forget about that friend you were gonna meet. Fernando was sitting in the exact spot were Rosy dumped me, great. I just made sure I didn't have anything on my plain boring black jacket, before I waved at him with a forced smile, he waved back with a questionable look.

"Hey Alex, um where's Veronica?" He said as my heart sank, what am I? Her pet! No "how you doing" or " how's it been" or " how was class?" Ugh, the guys Veronica gets, so disrespectful.

"She was called by Mr. M and I don't think she's gonna make it," I said looking at my shoes and my jeans.

"Well, than I'm gonna ask you," he said putting his finger under my chin and lifting my face. I couldn't stop looking at his glimmering hazel eyes and his jet black hair trying to cover his eyes. He gave me a small smile as I blushed red, so embarrassing!" Do you wanna see something cool," he asked with his plump pink lips.

"Uh, sh-sure," I studdered out, I know both of us have/ had girlfriends, but why do I feel like he's flirting with me.

"OK then lets go." I followed as he began to walk to the schools parking lot." Come on, my cars parked out front." He said as he grabbed his keys. I assumed we were going for a bit to eat, so I followed him. When we got to the car, he opened the door and smiled at me and asked," you coming? " I hesitated because I never left campus while at before school ends.

"Umm, yeah why not," I opened the door and jumped in, his car was pretty cool it was the same car as the YouTuber Gigi gorgeous, but black. The inside smelled like if a garden when planted in the trunk and it looked surprisingly clean. He drove in the direction of McDonald's, that's where everyone at our school goes during lunch. He just drove right past it, I thought he was going someplace better so I just sat back and tried to relax. A couple minutes past and I notice we've been driving for the entire D lunch time and now we have to be going to 4th block." Um where did you say we were going again?"

"I didn't tell you silly, I told you were going somewhere cool." He smiled at the road and kept driving. Oh my god I can't believe I'm skipping class on Friday with my best friend's boyfriend!" Here close your eyes and put these on," he handed me a pair of pink headphones and smiled. When I put them on, Nicki Minaj "Grand Piano" was playing and so it closed my eyes and relaxing.

After a long time, I felt the car stop and Fernando poked me and moved my headphone to tell me,"were here." When I looked at the time it was already 2:30 and lunch was over 2 hours ago. When I stepped outside I saw that we were in a forest in front of an old broken apartment building. My heart lit up as I ran up to him and hugged him.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!" I had as I hugged him, all he did was laugh and patted me on my head. "Can we spend the night, please?!" I got down on my knees and started to beg," please, please?!"

"Oh course why else would I take you in the middle of a forest in front of a creepy broken down apartment building, if we're not spending the night?" He said smiling at me. He started walking towards the front door An I followed him like a lost puppy. Omg I get to stay in a creepy building ,yes!
