"No!" I yelled across the room as loud as I could (I'm sure that it was loud enough for the people on the other side of the world hear. But for some reason all I could hear was laughter and quiet chattering, Damn it I fell asleep in Maths again. Mrs Crombe is going to be so mad at me, this is the third time this term that I have fallen asleep during class (and it's only week 5), I thought to myself. The vein that pops out in the middle of her head (the one she gets when she is mad) is bigger than I have ever seen it before plus to make it worse everyone is still looking at me. Even Tara is staring at me which tells me how bad and embarrassing it really was because even she would normally be laughing. "What were you dreaming about in class?!" Chuckled Leah, "yeah it seemed pretty intense" Tara piped in. "Yeah, who were you yelling at?" Krystal said as she caught up to us. "You know that reoccurring one that I have about 'you know who' going up to my crush to tell him all my secrets and worst of all THAT I LIKE HIM!" I explained but maybe a little too loud because everyone in the cafeteria were still staring at me. "How much more embarrassing could this day get?" Just as I said that with a sigh, Mrs Crombe walked up to us holding a Friday after school detention slip. Oh no I whispered to myself that's for me isn't it. " I told you if you fall asleep in my class again I was going to give you a Friday after school detention..." As Mrs Crombe lectured me about sleeping in class and missing out on the most useful and and interesting lesson blah blah blah, I couldn't help but stare at Sam. Oh my god I have had a crush on him since "are you even listening to me? This is exactly why you need a detention!" Mrs Crombe screamed as she finally gave up and stormed off. "Great" I whispered to Tara, Leah and Krystal, "everyone is going to stare at me for two reasons now" . This by far has been the most embarrassing and worst day ever and it's only lunch time.
