In the future a new drug is discovered called everlife.
Everlife, if taken at birth when you die you become immortal, and your body stay in it's dying state forever. After you turn 18 is when the drug takes effect in the body and makes you live forever the moment you die. The only way to die is to have your heart stopped in your body so it can no longer pump the drug throughout your body and reaches a climax that freezes your body.
It is discovered the best age of the world the best time time to KO meaning kill yourself is between 18-21 when you are thought to be in the prime of your life. Groups of kids will K.O. together to be bonded for life. Bond groups are the new thing sweeping the country.
One of these groups has a kid named Ned Webber. He and his bond group are about to go out with a new drug that's sweeping the city called Katy (kd = killer death ) that gives you an euphoric high before it shuts your body down. Giving the ultimate KO with no after effects to the body.
Things go from happy and fun to crazy real fast, when they take the pills and come back to life. Only one of them doesn't come back to life and stays dead.Things for Ned's world are about to spin out of control and flip the very notion of life and death on its head in a world where immortal is the way of life.
