I woke up with a pounding in my head. 'Ughhhhh what the actual fuck man...' I thought as I tried to remember what happened. Memories flooded my brain like a tsunami. 'Holy shit. I was shot!!! Am I dead!?'. I examined my surroundings and came to a conclusion.

"Damn. I really did go to hell then" I muttered under my breath.

That thought was immediately forgotten when I felt a sharp object against my neck. It was then that I heard a male voice say: "Tell me, what is a little kid like yourself doing all the way out here by yourself? It's a little suspicious don't you think?". I blinked twice. 'I'm sorry, did he say kid!?'. I looked down at my hands and sure enough I had chubby little hands that most likely belonged to a 5 year old. 'What. The. Fuck.'

I turned around to look at my attacker but I was so not expecting what I saw. I turned around and came face-to-face with thee one and only Hanzo. 'Well damn. Amegakure huh? I couldn't have landed in a more well known place like Suna?' And with that thought, reality hit me like a ton of bricks. 'HOLY MOTHER OF SYMMETRY I'M IN NARUTO!?!?' I felt my eyes widen in shock as the news began to sink in. Hanzo, who was still standing there mind you, was awaiting patiently for my answer. Slowly losing that patience though mind you.

'I'm in Naruto, and I am 5... Holy shinanigans this is SO COOL!! Oh wait I should probably answer his question... As a 5 year old...' I plucked up some courage and finally answered him. "U-um... I'm lost mister. D-do you know where I am?" I gave him the best puppy dog eyes I could offer. Obviously a 5 year old would be scared of a situation like this... Act scared. Yes. That's the plan. His eyes stayed the same and I was starting to get discouraged. Right when I was about to give up, a miracle happened. His eyes softened... And sighed. A little anyway. They didn't soften up much. Just enough.

"What's your name kid?" he finally asked. 'He ignored my question -.-'. Nevertheless I looked up at him, hope filling my eyes considering he hasn't kicked me to the curb just yet. "My name is Ale-" I cut myself off. Alexandra is not a normal name around here. If I'm going to be here for a while, I'm going to need a new name. Then it hit me. Kosonoy Manami. Idk where I heard that name before but it seems like the perfect name to give. So I went with it. "My name is Manami. Kosonoy Manami. Nice to meet you mister." And to finish it off I gave him my most innocent smile.

It seemed to have done the trick because he nodded back at me. Or at least that's what it seemed like since I can't see his expressions through that blasted gas mask of his. "What's your name mister?" I asked him needing to play the part. And to be even more weird and do the complete opposite of what my parents taught me I decided to make this stranger my new dad... Because yes. Don't judge me. Ik what I'm doing. "Can I call you daddy? I don't have one". He looked quite shocked. Or at least I think he did. Again. Can't see much. I'm not sure if he was shocked that I asked him to be my dad or that I don't have a dad. Either way, his reaction was priceless to me.

"My name is Hanzo of the great Salamander-" I caught him off with a gasp. "SALAMANDER!? DO YOU KNOW NATSU THEN!?" I exclaimed excitedly. He looked at me weird. "Who?". I straightened myself out and cleared my throat. "Ahem. No one, sorry mister Hanzo daddy sir. I'm just being weird" I giggled childishly. Was I enjoying myself? Yes. Too much? Definitely. Did I care? Absolutely not.

Any who, he was looking at me as if trying to figure out if I was mental or not. Which, is quite possible and most probable lol. Finally he looked away from me and muttered very lowly: "You don't have to call me that. Just call me Hanzo." I noticed he was sporting a little blush, hardly noticeable, but still there. Most likely flustered by the situation since he's not much of a people person and doesn't know how to handle this child. I gasped happily, grinned, and tackled him into a hug. ^ω^ Yay~ I won him over~

"I have a question though" He said. I tilted my head slightly to the right and asked him what it was. "Well, earlier you said you were lost. If that's the case, where's your mother? Do you know where you live?" 'Wow, he couldn't have just let that go could he?'. He looked confused when I started to giggle devilishly. "What's so funny?" he asked suspiciously. I looked at him and giggled once more. "That's 2 questions silly!!"

I decided to answer him as truthfully as I could. "Mommy went away to another place. She told me when I'm older I get to see her again. I don't has a home yet. I like trees. They're pretty and warm." I tell him. He nodded stiffly trying to pass it off as unimpressed but, since I'm actually a 19 year old in a 5 year old's body, which is the opposite of me irl lol, I noticed the slight pitiful look in his eyes.

Perfect. Now he thinks my mom is dead and I'm homeless. Well I am homeless but still. He's never going to meet my mother ever anyway so it's best to have him assume while not lying to come across as truthful. Any way, I looked at him and asked where he is from. Now, that answer he gave me was pretty demeaning considering I'm actually 19. "I'm from a place called Amegakure. It means Village Hidden in the Rain." I know that... Damn. Maybe acting young isn't the best way to go after all.

"Do you guys have ninjas daddy!?" I asked enthusiastically trying to turn my mood around. He chuckled and said: "Yes, actually I'm the leader of the village." He paused for a second then asked me: "Would you like to come live with me?" I grinned like the idiot I am and nodded as fast as I could. He smiled very lightly and motioned for me to follow him. And as a good daughter, adopted, I did.

When we got to the entrance of the village I was in awe. Little fun fact about me: I. Love. Rain. It's so... Calming. Relaxing. Refreshing. Gloomy but perfect. Now, don't get me wrong. I do love me some fun in the sun but the rain? It's my stress reliever. Just listening to the therapeutic but rhythmic sound of the pounding raindrops falling onto the ground. It's even better when thunder and lightning strikes. Absolutely beautiful.

As I stood in awe watching my new home, Hanzo - well, I guess daddy now - noticed my sudden halt and turned around to see if I was alright. When he saw my face, he chuckled and asked: "Do you like your new home?" I looked at him, disbelief written all over my face. "No. I LOVE IT!!" I proclaimed while I ran in circles enjoying the feel of the rain on my face. I laughed. Not because I found something funny. No. I didn't laugh out of humor. I laughed because I finally got one of the main things I wanted in life. To be happy. I was laughing because I was happy. I'm finally home.
