*Peyton's pov*

I followed Brooke quickly down to the car so she wouldn't try to get in the driver's seat. We got in the car and were on our way. Before I knew it she had turned on the radio and cranked up the volume, not caring that she didn't know the song that was playing. A few minutes into the drive we passed a guy in a grey hoodie and basketball shorts dribbling a basketball along the side of the road.

Brooke turned around quickly as we passed by to get a second look then looked at me, "Wasn't that the guy from lunch today?"

"I think so? It kinda looked like him." I knew exactly who it was, Lucas Scott. I'd know that hoodie anywhere, it had his uncle's business logo on the back. Soon we came to a stop in front of Brooke's house, "Go get your stuff, I'll wait here."

A few minutes later she came out of her house wearing a red dress that was a more than a little short. She locked the door behind her and hurried back to the car, a little bit later and we were on our way.

"So where is this party at?"

"It's a college party at some guy's house-oh come on don't give me that look."

"We're going to a party and you don't even know whose party it is?"

"Well I know the address of the guy's house and I'll know a few people there. Peyton come on, there's gonna be boys and booze. It's gonna be fun."

"I have a boyfriend Brooke, I'm only going to keep an eye on you."

"Fine then, I'll just have all the fun by myself."

Thirty minutes later we pulled up in front of a really nice house with a bunch of cars parked in front.

"I guess this is it."

She nodded excited, "Ready P. Sawyer?"

"I guess I am B. Davis."

After a few hours I am, as expected, practically carrying Brooke down the sidewalk and back to my car.

"Peyton, look at me," Brooke says slurring her words dreamily, "I am totally fine."

I laugh a little, "Oh yeah, I believe you. But we're still going back to my house."

"Peyton come on, please. Just a little longer."

"No Brooke, we're leaving," I say firmly, only a few steps away from the car.

"Fine, but you don't have to be so rough," she whines as I practically shove her into the passenger seat of my car.

"Yeah, I'll keep that in mind," I get in, start the car, and head back to my house.

After about half an hour I get Brooke into bed and lay down to go to sleep.
