Don't Look Back

Chapter 1 The Beginning

A little town in the UK, Daryl Dixon and Kameron Rivers live regular lives, until one day something terrible happened. They both were surprised on their way to school, the school building was surrounded by Ambulances and Fire Trucks. Debris and desks were scattered in the parking lot. Heads and arms were in nearby trees, that were on fire. Half of the school building was demolished. They heard a loud noise behind them. They both turned around quickly to see what had happened. Daryl quickly takes action and shoves Kameron away, the blast hit one of the Ambulances. Bodies began to rise slowly taking steps towards the two, Kameron stands to her feet, but gets shoved back down by Daryl who starts fighting the multiple zombies that approach them. He quickly tears a desk leg from a desk and beats the zombie closest to them. Kameron pushes the zombie at Daryl who has the desk leg held ready to strike. Kameron had just recently seen a movie about this. At the time she thought it wasn't true. The zombie hisses, scratching at Daryl. "Kameron, get this thing away from me." Shouts Daryl. Kameron jerks the desk leg from Daryl and strikes the zombie in the side of its head. "Daryl we need to go!" Shouts Kameron over the blast of another explosion. They start running as fast as they can and Kameron gets dust in her eyes, but she keeps running. A couple seconds later she runs into a zombie, she falls onto the ground, the zombie falling on top of her. Daryl kicks the zombie off of her and helps her up. They start running again, this time Kameron has vision and can run much faster. She takes off as fast as she can. A few seconds later she trips over a rock. Daryl picks her up. "Are you alright." Asked Daryl. "Yeah, I'm fine." Said Kameron. She soon figures out she twisted her ankle when she fell. She can barely walk, just then Daryl finds an old golf cart. He walks over to see if the keys are in it. He gets in and starts it, he drives it over to where Kameron is, picks her up and takes off. They go to the airport. "Can we have two tickets to America, please?" Asked Kameron. "I'm sorry, I can't sell tickets to children." Said the gentleman in the white suit. Just then a zombie attacks the gentleman whose name tag says Jim. Daryl and Kameron run as fast as they can to the plane to go to America. They quickly jump on the plane. No one else is on the plane, there is no pilot either. Daryl and Kameron have never flown a plane before, "If we can get it in the air, we can put it on autopilot!" exclaimed Kameron. They start the plane and take off in the air. Daryl puts the plane on autopilot as soon as they get in the air. They are both worn out from the epic battles they were just in, but only one of them is able to sleep while the other keeps watch as they fly over the ocean. Kameron takes a nap first as Daryl watches the blue waves in the ocean. While Kameron is sleeping Daryl hears something in the back of the plane. He gets up and walks to the back of the plane. When he gets to the back of the plane he opens a door. He doesn't know if he should be happy or scared of what he is seeing. He quickly goes and gets Kameron to see what she thinks of what he had just saw. He wakes Kameron up, they walk to the back of the plane. Kameron runs to the front of the plane and starts to land it. When they land Kameron jumps off the plane and starts running. She runs into this old man, who asks her why she was running. They get Daryl and go to his house. He asks them where they were from and why they fled to America. They don't know what to say to him, all they know is that there are zombies in their country. He takes them to a refugee camp where they are soon taken to a knew home. Kameron gets to go to Texas, but Daryl has to go to Alabama. Ten years later they run into each other after the world was taken over by aliens who want to use the planet as a science lab. The bad part about these aliens though is that they can connect themselves to human brains so they can have a disguise and can have an easier shot to kill the humans. They soon run into a soldier who starts shooting, which instantly lets them know he is an alien. Kameron pulls a gun, that she found on the plane, out and shoots the alien soldier in the head. They run out of the building and onto the street where they find an abandoned car. They drive as far as they can until they run out of gas. They stop at an old abandoned hospital, they go in and find red handprints on the white walls. Daryl walks up to the wall and touches one of the handprints, "Blood, it's still wet." said Daryl. They continue walking around the hospital, they stop at an elevator that reads 'Don't Open, Dead Inside'. Just then a serial killer runs up behind them, they start running as fast as they can. Daryl shoots him in the side, but he continues to chase them. The killer gets Kameron and kills her.
