Sydney Wise hated crying.

Crying was a sign of weakness. And as a 14 year old daughter of Athena, she needed to be strong.

TK had always told her, "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."

Now that he was dead, Sydney had to bite back a snort and stifle the urge to say, "You're one to talk."

Back to crying...

Well, there's not much to say except: she hated it. It made her feel weak. But for the moment, weakness was all she could feel.

Hot tears spilled from her gray eyes as she stared at her brother's grave. The special one in Camp Half-Blood. The one with his actual body in it.

"Hey," Sydney turned to look at Piper McLean daughter of Aphrodite, and heroine of Olympus.

Aphrodite, being the goddess of love and beauty, of course had beautiful children. That was the reason why Piper was the hottest girl in camp. Usually she would try to downplay her beauty, but Aria's closet in her mortal home was overflowing with clothes from a friend named Stella of Solaria.

As a result, Piper looked even more beautiful than normal. She was wearing a sleeveless, knee-length, lavender, A-line dress with a silver ribbon wrapped around her waist. On the ribbon was a sparkling silver rose. She wore over that a black leather jacket that stopped just below her ribs with sleeves that went to her elbows. She wore ratty old white converse just because she was a demigod and ran a lot.

Her hair wasn't choppy anymore as she was now a twenty year old woman. Her hair tumbled down her back in wand curls with auburn highlights here and there. Her kaleidoscope eyes were lined with black eyeliner and mascara. She had on peach lip gloss.

She crouched down next to where Sydney was crying in front of TK's grave.

"Do you need a distraction?" Piper smiled tiredly. "'Cuz I sure need one."

"It's because," Sydney corrected.

Piper snorted. "Come with me, Lacy wants to have you come over to our cabin."

Sydney smiled. Lacy was her girlfriend. She wiped her tears. "Sure,"

This caused Piper to grin. "You just made the worst mistake of your life."

The two girls laughed and headed off to Cabin 10.

...***~~~~~~~~~***...

"You actually want me to kill Hikari Kamiya?"

"Sweetie, she's a b****. And weren't you the one who threatened to kill her in the first place?"

"Yeah, but I was gonna have, I don't know, a cat do it!"

"Kill her,"

A knife lay untouched on the table between Lou Ellen and the stranger.

"Fine,"
