Chapter 7

Emma's POV

We broke the kiss and smiled at each other. Neal took my hand and we walked through the bushes to see my parents, Regina, and Rumple waiting for us. Hook followed soon after. The day was still early, we thought, so we sent off to Tink's. After we got there we found Tink and told her we got what we needed. "A coconut?" she asked looking at what Neal had in his hand. "So you believe in pixie dust, but no tin a magic coconut?" he simply replied. I laughed into his shoulder. He smiled and so did everyone else except Hook. He discussed the plan to get Henry. We decided to go tonight. The sooner we get Henry, the better. "Alright, let's go," Regina said. She, like Neal and I, probably wanted to get Henry back more than anyone. We headed toward Pan's camp. We arrived and Regina made all the boys go to sleep. We walked into the camp. We saw a cage towards the back. Neal walked over there. The look on his face, it looked as he knew something about that cage. "Wendy?" he asked someone. I walked closer to the cage and saw there was a little girl inside. "Do I know you?" she asked Neal. He replied, "It's me, Baelfire." I've never heard him call himself that. "Bae!" the girl smiled. Neal took the coconut and starting hacking away at the lock. It finally broke and the girl crawled out and Neal embraced her. They pulled away from each other and Neal asked, "How did you get here?" "I came looking for you," she said. "I couldn't let you grow up without a family. After you told me your parents were dead-" "You told her I was dead?" Gold looked hurt. "Better than telling her the truth," Neal said, standing up. "That my own father abandoned me." He started to walk back into the camp and we all followed. I went to get a drink of water and handed it to Wendy. "Here, drink," I told her. "Thank you," she said, then draining the half the glass. Neal walked over to me and smiled. I smiled back at him. "You okay?" he asked me putting his hand on my arm I looked at his hand there, then looking back up at him. I smiled and replied, "Yeah, I'm good. You?" He nodded and leaned in and kissed me. I kissed back and smiled in to the kiss. We broke and smiled at each other. He went over to Wendy. "Wendy," he started crouching down so he was eye level with her. "Have you seen a little boy? Not any of these," he pointed towards the knocked out boys. "His name's Henry." After hearing that she avoided his eyes. "No, I'm sorry." Regina said exactly what I was thinking, "She's lying." Neal looked at me and I nodded slightly to tell him I agree with Regina. He turned back to Wendy. "Wendy, I need you to tell me if you saw him. He's our son." He whispered to last part and turned to look at me, smiling slightly. I walked towards them and crouched down to look at Wendy. Neal took my hand and laced our fingers together. "Wendy," I whispered. "Please." "Pan wants Henry to bring magic back to Neverland. But Pan lied to him. He doesn't want magic to save the island, he wants it to save himself." We all looked confused. "Pan's dying," Wendy continued. "He needs the heart of the truest believer." "And Pan thinks that heart belongs to-?" I asked her. "Henry," she whispered. Neal put an arm on mine and tightened his grip, protecting me. "Where did they go, Wendy?" Neal asked her. "Skull Rock," she replied. "But, if you want to save him, you have to hurry. You only have until sunset. Wait-," she said after Neal and I got up. "Pan is holding John and Michael as prisoners-," "We'll save them," Regina told her, "but first," she said turning to Neal and I, "let's get our son back." We both nodded. I turned to Neal, "You-," "Know where it is, yeah," he told me. "Hey," he said taking both my hands. "We're going to get him back." I nodded. He kissed me. We broke and he said, smiling, "I love you." I smiled back at him. "I love you, too." He kissed me again. In that moment, I knew, we were going to get our son back. Together. He took my hand and said, "To Skull Rock we go." We both laughed and then we started towards our son.
