Unclosed Desires

I remembered when it happened.

I was just 6 years old and having dinner with my mom Rebecca , my dad Andrew and my older brother Eric who was 15 at that time.

We were all laughing talking about our days when the front door was kicked open. A man who was tall, dark black eyes that showed no sign compassion in them.

The man just walked straight towards my dad and said "This is what happenes when you mess with me" The man after pulled out a gun and shot my dad in the head.

My brother grabbed me and ran upstairs to his room and locked the door. He took me to into a closet with him And pulled me close to him.

I could hear my mom cries for help and cursing at the man.

Telling him he was a bastard.

I covered my ears trying to tune everything out and leaning into my brother. But even with my ears covered i heard one more gun shot being pulled. And just like that i was a orphan living with my aunt.
