Chapter 4

Health Class

A few days passed and things didn't get anymore exciting then normal. Everyday was the same, school, cheerleading, school, cheerleading! Pretty boring! Then on thursday in health class everything went from boring to interesting!

We were learning about the digestion system.

My teacher started telling us about how everything gets digested. It was so disguting. Then she talked about it exiting the body, and obviously I knew how that happened, but they way she discribed it, it was 10 times worse! I made a face of disgust. I heard laughing. I looked to my right. Brody (who was assigned to sit next to me) was laughing atsomething.

"What are you laughing at?" I wispered.

"Oh nothing. Your face is just funny!" he said still laughing.

"Excuse me!" I said a little offended.

"Not your face! I ment the face that you made." he answered laughing again. I stuck my tongue out at him.

"How mature!"

"Don't you know it!" I winked at him and smiled. He smiled back at me. His teeth were so white. He had the most beutiful smile I had ever seen.

"Why were you staring at me anyways?" I asked.

"Huh?"

"Well you must have been staring at me to see my facial expression!"

"No. You've been making faces all class. I just happened to notice!"

"Mhm." I really didn't think he was just sitting there staring at me. I mean that would be just a tid bit creepy, but for some reason I kinda wished he did have enough interest in me to just sit there staring. We sat there and talked the rest of class. I found him so interesting, which was suprising cause most people bore me to death, but not him! The bell rang. He got up and walked over to Derek. I was upset I didn't want class to be over, I just wanted to sit here and keep talking to him. He turned around and smiled at me.

"See ya around."

"Ya see ya." I said smiling back.

He walked out of the room. Bailey walked over to me with a big smile on her face.

"What." I asked.

"You got a crush on the new kid!"

"What! Are you crazy. I have a boyfriend."

"So!"

"So! There's nothing else to it."

"Alright what ever you say..... and don't worry I won't tell Landon."

"Shut up!"

She just laughed at me. I picked my bag up and walked out of class. The gang was waiting for us out side the class.

"What took you two so long?!" Taylor asked. She didn't look to happy.

"Whats wrong with you?" Bailey asked.

"Kyle's party is in two days and I don't even have a date yet!"

"Oh my god!"

Taylor was the kind of girl that refuses to come to school if she has the smallest zit on her forehead. I guess you could call her a diva. Actually thats how you would define her. The biggest diva you will ever meet! Bailey and Tay always got into fights about this kind of stuff. I jumped in before a cat fight broke out.

"Alright you two relax. Tay I will help you find a date alright?"

"Fine but he better be hot!" I just rolled my eyes at her. The rest of the day was as normal as ever. I went to cheerleading and by the end I was exhausted. I went home, took a shower, did my homework, and went to bed. The next day was so frustrating. All I wanted was for 5th period to come so that I could talk to Brody again. I also had Tay riding up my a** to find her a date for Kyle's party. Not fun. At lunch I was looking at every possible guy that Tay would like. She is very picky. Then an idea poped into my head.

"Hey Jason do you have a date for Kyle's party tommorrow?"

"Hayden you are my best friends girl!"

I interupted him. "Not me you jack a**! Taylor!"

"I don't know...."

"Oh come on I know you've had a thing for her since like the 8th grade."

"Ya but I don't really think she's very interested in me."

Taylor and Jason have had an interesting relationship ever since they kissed each other in the 8th grade. Don't know why because she was like in love with him way before it happened. I think it just caught her off guard so she kinda lost interest.

"Just ask her please!" I said with a big smile.

"Fine. I will in our next class."

"K."

Finally it was 5th period and I was so excited. I really don't get why but when ever I think about Brody I get goose bumps down my arms and I get all happy and excited! I walked into class and right away started looking for him. He was sitting in his normal spot right next to me.

"Well there he is. You know he is very good looking!" Bailey said.

"I know!"

"Well good luck! Oh and remember I won't tell Landon. Ya know in case anything happens!"

"Good bye Bailey!" she walked to her seat laughing. I shook my head and walked to my seat.

"Hey." he smiled at me with that gorgeous smile.

"Hi. So whats up?"

"Uhm nothing ya know just sitting here."

"Right." omg I am such an idiot that was the dumbest question I could of asked. My teacher walked in and started class. I really have to think of something to say to him when we can talk.

"Alright kids were done for the day. You can talk to each other now."

I turned around to face him. He was already looking at me.

"So what are you doing this weekend?" he asked me. Thank god he started the conversation.

"I'm going to this party. This kid Kyle throws it every year. You should come!"

"I don't think that's such a good idea!"

"Why not?"

"If so haven't noticed im not all rich and popular like you."

"That doesn't matter everyone's invited. Come on you can bring Derek and all your friends."

"I don't know." The bell rang. He got up.

"Well if you do show up i'll be glad to see you!"

He smiled
