The next day was definitely full of surprises.
Tayyuk found himself being dragged in a high school by Mai and Emiko.
But that was not the unusual thing.
For that day, the bounty hunter did not appear as a vicious gray-skinned Tytonian, but rather as a tall, muscular Terran high school student.
He appeared to have tanned skin, and his scleras where perfectly white like a human's. Nowhere were the tattoo-like markings that defined his race.
He kept, however, his red irises and slicked back dark hair. From another Uchida High School student's perspective, he was the epitome of "high school bad boy".
Tayyuk did not enjoy this appearance one bit, but he had no choice in the matter, for it was Emiko keeping it that way.
"Why do I have to pretend I'm some stupid Terran?" grumbled the boy.
"Cease your whining, bounty hunter," said Mai, smirking. "In order for you to be of use to us you must blend in with the human populace."
"But why here?" said Tayyuk. "What does this run-down school got to do with anything--"
As he spoke he was interrupted by a sight that can be described as belonging to a harem or yuri manga.
Uchida had more female students than male, so everywhere Tayyuk looked there were beautiful underage girls almost ripe for the picking.
"T-This is a school...?" said the flustered young man. "Reminds me of the clan king's bed chambers..."
(In Tytonus, clan kings can have as many as fifty wives.)
Mai smirked.
"I am a woman of my word, Tayyuk Hazunn," said she. "All these women are yours if you help me kill Ay-Shinn."
Tayyuk, like all bounty hunters, desired money. But above all, he wanted as many wives as he can take to bed.
For Tytonians, women were more than just for reproduction. They were status symbols. The more wives a Tytonian had, the more powerful he was, and he could challenge the local clan king for supremacy.
Tayyuk had a very hard time refusing the offer.
"H-How will I guarantee you won't back down from your word?" he said as he continued staring at all the girls, his eyes twitching.
"You will just have to trust us," said Mai haughtily. "Either way you will not have a choice."
"We have to keep you secure," added Emiko. "We still cannot trust you even if you accept the Princess' terms."
"So I'm just gonna be a prisoner in that run-down apartment you call home?" said Tayyuk, glaring at the doll-like girl.
"Precisely," replied she. "You are too dangerous--"
"To be set loose, I know," said Tayyuk, scratching his head in frustration. "How many times have you told me that?"
"Something has come to my attention," said Mai, scratching her chin.
"What is it, Maina of Ardonia?" said Emiko.
"Since Tayyuk Hazunn will be impersonating a human for the time being it would be wise to refer to him by a human name," said Mai enthusiastically.
"I already took care of that," said Emiko before turning to the boy. "From henceforth, you shall be known as Taniyuki Ishikawa."
"Tch," growled Tayyuk in contempt. "What kind of crappy name is that?"
