Chapter 5 ~ The perfect moment

KAYLA'S P.O.V.

Once it was time we walked down stairs to leave for the park. "Mum!" I screamed in fright, forgetting that my mum was home because to was a weekend "Where are you two off to?" "Just the park with some other friends" i say hoping she will be ok with it. "Okay, just don't be too late home, dinners at 6:30" she tells me as we walk down the rest of the stairs. We walk out the door and I close it behind me as I walk out "ahhh" I sigh "glad your out?" Tay asks with her left eyebrow up. "Yup!" We laugh as we walk down the driveway. The park was at the end of three streets and was massive! I used to go there with my friend Michaela in primary school, there was a creek that went right through Drysdale! And only Michaela and I knew about the swimming area, the water was so clear that you can swim in it. We called it the river and the rope, because we tied a rope to a tree overlooking the water so that we can swing and jump into the water like in Hannah Montana the movie with Miley Cyrus, well the old Miley Cyrus.

Once we got to the park, no one was there so we sat down at the bench and went onto our social media. I checked snapchat then posted a photo of a random tree in the park onto my story.

ETHAN'S P.O.V.

Jakob, Chris and I met at my house and started to walk to the park, once we got there I saw Kayla and someone sitting at the park bench staring into their phones. "Hey look theirs Kayla and her friend Tayla at the bench" Jakob said as we started walking over to them. "Yeah, her friends pretty hot" Chris says "Hey do you think Kayla might like me?" I ask the boys but they both just shrugged their shoulders at me. "Hey Kayla" we all say as we walk up to her "oh hey guys" She says turning around to face us as we sit on the bench adjacent to her. "This is my friend Tayla, but you can call her Tay. And Tay this is Ethan, Jakob and... Chris" he says with a sweet smile. Kayla has a great smile, all her teeth are lined up perfectly and her eyes, sea blue which makes her eyes sparkle in the sun and the night sky.omg, am I falling for Kayla? No. This can't be happening, I'll just have to stick with Chris and Jakob today, because there is NO way she will never like me so I don't want to humiliate myself.

"Oh, here comes Gemma" Kayla says as she jumps up to give Gemma a hug, once they said hi and Kayla introduced Gemma to Tay and Tay to Gemma they both sit down on the other side of the bench. "Soo...."  I say trying to start a conversation seeing as no one was talking. "Do we maybe wanna get some lunch?" I offer

"Any ideas?" Kayla asks

"Maybe fish 'n' chips?" Gemma suggests

We all agree. "I'll go get 2 family packs from the store down the road?" Jakob asks

"Ok" we all agree again. None of us was really all that fussy which was a big help. "I'll come with to help you carry them back" Gemma says jumping up with Jakob

"Do you guys want any money?" I offer

"No, don't sweat it Etho" Jakob says as they both walk away

"Are Gemma and Jake tuning?" Chris says once Jakob and Gemma were far enough so that they wouldn't hear

"I think so" Kayla says raising her eyebrow
We all laugh

When J and Gemma come back from getting the fish and chips they each have one tray in one hand and... The other is intwind into the other! Something must have gone on whilst they were out getting the fish and chips.

We all look over and see, *cough cough* Chris 'coughs' as they eventually get up to the park bench. But J and Gemma just smile at each other. "We got some love birds over here" I say trying to get them to speak up. But they just sit down opposite each other and smirk at each other. Seeing as I was on the end I got up and walked over so that I was sitting next to Kayla, letting Jakob and Gemma sit next to each other. Oh no, I was getting closer to Kayla, I'll just break up with Rose later on tonight.

Once we had finished our food we decided to go for a walk into the bushes. We all walk across the oval and past the play set and then into the bushes. It started off with a few trees but luckily there was a trail. Because other wise it would be a very long day... Jakob and Gemma walked next to each other holding hands. After a while of wandering the bushes Jakob and Gemma wandered off and then Kayla and I were left when Chris and Tay went off to find them.

"Soo..." I say trying to start a conversation, I'm always the conversation starter, then I heard something come out of Kayla's mouth

"So are you and Rose Harley dating?" She asks

"Yeah, why?" I ask back

"Oh, just that I never see you two together plus your not in the same class"

"Well, because I got suspended in the first two days so I had to move class from 7S to 7E and Rose is in 7S, at first we weren't going too bad but after I moved classes I realised that she started to like Jason plus it was a dare to ask her out..."

"Wow" is all that she could say

"I might tell her it's over tonight, have you ever had a boyfriend?" I asked, but it sounded a lot better in my head

"No, I don't want one of those ask out boyfriends, I want it to be magical, when we are friends then something happens and then we go out."

"Ha" is all that I could fit out of my mouth

Then I feel my phone vibrate so I pull it out and see that Rose was calling me "it's Rose" I tell Kayla then answer the call

"Hey" I answer, but I hear... Kissing? So I put it on speaker and record it so that it's kept for later and I knew that inside of me I could trust Kayla even though we haven't known each other for that long.

"Is that kissing?" Kayla whispers to me, so I nod. I hang up but wasn't that annoyed because we weren't all that close.

KAYLA'S P.O.V.

Ethan and I have been walking around for quite a while now, and then I realise that we were coming up to the river and the rope.

"Hey come this way" I say walking off the trail so that we could get to the river and the rope.

"But we're going off the trail" Ethan says

"Trust me" I look around at him

Then I start to see the river and the rope, Ethan comes up behind me and I could see in his eyes he was amazed from the water fall and how clear the water was. "Can we go in?" He asks me

"Of course" I answer

He instantly starts to take his shirt off, then his pants "umm Ethan..." I say as I feel my face go red
"Oh sorry" he says as he does them back up "no no, don't worry" I say. So he takes his pants off and just walks off in his Calvin Klein underwear. He starts to walk up towards to the top of the waterfall "hey you coming?" He asks
"Ummm ok, just don't look" I say, I taking off my shirt and shorts and left in my bra and underwear. I ran up to Ethan as we both raced to the top. Once we got to the top he held out his hand, I grabbed it and then 1, 2, 3, JUMP! We both jumped and glided through the air holding hands with hardly any clothes on. Then we landed into the water we eventually let go of each other's hands and then went back up to the surface of the water. Ethan and I came up at the same time, I looked into his perfect brown eyes as his head came closer to mine, eventually I felt his lips on mine.

CHRIS'S P.O.V.

A few miles back Tay and I found Jakob and Gemma kissing in a tree. We heard a splashing noise so we all ran up, we found our selves up on top of a waterfall watching over Kayla and Ethan kissing. I quickly got out of my clothes leaving my underwear on and then walked back dropped my clothes "Chris, what are you doing?" Tay asked me. But I ignored her and ran up and jumped "BOMBS AWAY!!" I scream as I glide through the air and into a canon bomb as I splashed into the water. When I got up to the surface Ethan and Kayla were just laughing at me. Then comes down Jakob, Gemma and Tay. We all laugh and swam for a while.
