Rumbling filled the air. Along with screams. No, not screams. A sharp ache stabbed Sara's forehead. Aching all over, Sara absentmindedly twitched her fingers, a searing pain jolted through her arm and she screamed. It was like a hot poker being run up her arm slowly reaching to her head, she breathed lightly afraid of what might happen if she was to move the slightest bit more. Sara twitched her eyes forcing them to open, but it was like her eyelids were too heavy, too heavy.. Sara snapped and groaned, stay awake she told herself. Tingles of fire erupted all over her body, her eyes snapped open and she screamed. A loud recurring beeping filled her head, she screamed again. No no no no! Darkness, all around her. Sara felt something hard, cold pressing all around her, closing her in, swallowing her slowly up. Pain. She licked her lips, dry liquid. Blood. She felt blood drip down, tickling her face as it dripped into her mouth. She spat and vomited bile and blood, the warm liquid stank as it dribbled down her front. A loud rumble echoed, making Sara's ears ring, she felt cool metal dig into her ribs, a loud scraping metal against metal. Sara lifted her neck and sucked in, feeling the metal dig into her cheek. The metal dug deeper and she winced. Trembling, she cried, big heaving sobs. As soon as she let that breath out, she regretted it. The metal squeezed around tighter, I'm going to die she thought, I don't remember anything, I'm gonna die not knowing who I am. I'm dying. A sudden jolt made sara hiccup. Pain entered her head, then dug around slowly, like it was searching around her brain. Every cell it passed, constant pain, fire. Fire. Hot lava. It felt like her brain was melting. The Slowly Sara's eyes dropped, too weak to scream, to weak to fight. Then she knew, the pain, it was searching for the switch. The switch that clicked from life to death. She felt that switch hover in between. The pain stopped. Sara twitched and gasped, no she whispered. Then she fell. Deep down, kept falling, she let it swallow it her up. Memories flashed, the pain slowly faded.. Anything to keep the pain away..
