What does it take to fall inlove with your bestfriend who is so inlove with your other bestfriend and your bestfriend who knows that you’re inlove with your bestfriend also fell inlove with your bestfriend???
Confused? Want me to elaborate it further? Hehe. Well, this is a type of story that happened in real life. I am Ira Joaquin and this is my story…
I am a friendly person. I’ve got two bestfriends- a boy and a girl. My boy bestfriend is Carlo Bermudez and my girl bestfriend is Kylie Garcia. Both of them are my classmates. Carlo is a sweet guy. For me, he’s the perfect guy. He’s kind, smart and good-looking though he’s a little bit playboy. I wasn’t turned off with his playboy attitude because I know the reason why he had been doing that. The reason was another story which is not necessary here. ^____^v
Carlo became my bestfriend a month after we exchanged our mobile numbers. Was that fast? I couldn’t help it. I am so comfortable with him. We always text each other even if there is no important thing to talk about. :P
Months passed by and I noticed that I’m starting to fall for him. I tried to keep my feelings a secret but Kylie was able to find it out. Actions never lie. I tried to deny but she told me that I was kinda obvious. Teasing me with Carlo became Kylie’s hobby and with that, my feelings for Carlo became stronger. You get what I mean, right? *__*
Kylie during those times has a boyfriend. He’s also our classmate namely, Arvie Lorenzo. It was almost 3 weeks that they are in arelationship until one day, an unknown person texted Kylie telling her that she’s a bitch and she’s stealing somebody’s boyfriend. Kylie didn’t believe what the texter said. She trusts Arvie a lot.
Days passed by and the issue became worse. Somebody told Kylie that Lhia, Kylie’s friend is also Arvie’s girlfriend. Kylie and I cornered Carlo because we know that Carlo knows the truth about this. He was a close friend of Arvie. Carlo didn’t deny and he confirmed the issue. Kylie broke up with Arvie. After the break up, Carlo became a shoulder-to-lean-on of Kylie. They became close to each other. Weeks passed, Carlo started to court Kylie. Carlo knew my true feelings for him but he pretended that as if he never knew. :'(
After about 3 weeks of Carlo courting Kylie, I found out that Kylie was also inlove with him. She didn’t tell it to me directly but I know she likes him. It was also obvious. I insisted to Kylie that she should accept Carlo as his boyfriend. I told her that I know she likes him and I know that I’m the only reason why she’s trying to bust him. I threatened Kylie that if Carlo will be busted because of her, I won’t talk to her anymore. I don’t want to be an antagonist on my two bestfriends’ lovestory. Besides, I think it’s unfair to Carlo if I’ll be the only reason for him to be busted. I love him a lot that I am willing to let go even if it hurts so bad. I’m their bestfriend. I have been their bestfriend and I will still be their bestfriend even if seeing them together feels like thousands of needles are pricking my heart. That’s how I love them. Call me a martyr or stupid but I don’t care. Atleast, I know that I did my role as their bestfriend. :I
Someday, I will be able to forget my special feelings for Carlo. I will be able to find a guy who’s willing to love me back. I know, true love waits and time heals. I don’t have to insist myself to something or someone who’s not really meant for me because I’ll only hurt myself more. Sometimes, you need to be contented on what you have because you might lose the only thing that binds you when you’ll beg for more. Gets?
