To Die For

Chapter Two

When Skye arrived she wanted to run up and tell May how much she missed her but she kept her cool and simply said "so how do we get Ward?" May gave a little grin and filled her in on Hunter getting into Hydra. "Wow. I'm in! Sounds like we're gonna need to train Hunter.. Hey, why don't I go in with him, or.. separately.. That way we have two ins" "No. Ward will kill you the second he hears about it, we can train Hunter, and that's it."
Skye sighed and nodded. "So this is where you two have been staying?" Skye asked as she looked around the small hotel room.
May nodded. "There's only two bedrooms so you can sleep on the couch in the living room."
Skye nodded and set her bag down on the couch. She rolled out her sleeping bag and propped up her pillow.
"The bathroom's down the hall," May told her.
Then they both sat in silence.
"So how is everyone?" May finally asked.
"Oh," Skye said. "It's crazy. Simmons wants to go back through the rock portal-"
"What?!" May asked.
Skye nodded. "Fitz is trying to make her feel better but it isn't helping. Bobbi is dying to get back in the field. Coulson is flipping out and has joined forces with another power seeking company. And Lincoln.......it's a long story."
Skye sighed. "I really needed to come with you guys."
May sat in silence for a second before saying "I'm glad you came.." Skye smiled and nodded, then they say in silence.
Then they heard the door unlock to see Hunter come in.
Skye gasped. "Hunter you look horrible."
Hunter sighed. "Thanks."
"Have you gotten any good leads to find Ward yet?" Skye asked.
Hunter sighed again. "Nope. Well, maybe. I've found someone who works for Hydra. But he won't tell me anything."
"He needs training," May said firmly. "That's why we brought you in remember?"
Skye nodded. "Okay. When do we start?"
"Tomorrow morning," May replied. "So I suggest you get some rest."

The next morning Skye woke up to the sound of May shooting a gun "Geez May you could've just shook me awake..." May gave a smug grin "this was more fun" Skye got up from the couch and quickly got ready, then Hunter came out and said "are we gonna do this or play monopoly all day?" May rolled her eyes and Skye laughed then they got started.
May and Skye began doing a one on one as Hunter watched. Then, Hunter replaced May and fought Skye. She kicked his butt. May sighed. "Hunter. Did you watch any of the moves I did on Daisy to block her kicks and punches?"
Hunter sighed. "Let me try again."
Skye went for Hunter's leg but he blocked her. Then Hunter went for Skye's shoulder but she grabbed his hand and flipped him over. But he got back up and grabbed Skye by the arm and flipped her over. May yelled at them to stop.
"That was better," she told Hunter. "Now let's go against me."
Hunter gulped as Skye chuckled.
May and Hunter went at it for awhile, May giving some tips along the way, the older agent eventually won but by the end had made Hunter a better opponent, he still had a long way to go before going back to hydra though. They kept at the training all week before Hunter heard back from Hydra, they wanted another initiation test, he was to go to a building in the middle of no where and they would meet him there.

When the day came after many long hours training with May and Skye they dropped Hunter at the place and drove out of sight but stayed near just in case. Hunter gulped and went in, he had his gun ready for the slight chance he would see Ward.
Skye and May waited in the car, the time seemed to drag by, Skye ran through all the variables in her head for why Hunter could be taking so long, after a couple hours she came to the decision Hunter was in trouble, without a word to May because she knew she would stop her she opened the door and ran off to try to help Hunter.
