Chapter 1

Claude POV

Standing in the back garden of a broken down manor, I stood gazing at a black rose. Looking at this specimen, I would have easily craved its soul ,however, the crow was the first to ever notice.

' Of all hideous creatures hell could have made'

"Why Claude, you look intimidated the more I gaze at you" He whispered in my ear as his right hand quickly ripped off my tail coat.

Shocked, I quickly turned trying to punch him which he dodged. He then got a grip on my arm making me lose my balance.

"Damn you, Sebastian!" I mustered up while falling to the concrete floor.

Regularly, I would visit this forbidden place to catch unwanted souls that craved for a body to be in. Sadly, I was fated with this butler in a brawl and he managed to have the upper hand.

"Tired already, how disgraceful of a butler as yourself to be" Smirking, he grabbed a handful of my hair pulling it back so I can face him.

"Where's the young master" In a swift, his demonic side quickly shifted revealing his gluttony self.

"Resting in hell" I muttered as my head was then slammed to the ground once more.

"I would appreciate if your would be more honest with me, care to say that one more time?" He asked growling as his hot breath tickled the side of my neck.

"He's with my master, the triplets are guarding them under my command but I'm suddenly replaced by that maid and ordered to retrieve a lost soul if I want both the young master souls back." I exclaimed, coughing out blood as he pulled me up towards him.

"Now that wasn't hard now was it" Looking down at me with the slightest of pity, Sebastian then grabbed my hand pulling me towards him.

Gazing into my eyes, he smirked as if satisfied with what he has down.

"I'll help you get back your master and your demon powers back ... under one condition" Pulling my chin, he licked the side of my mouth tasting my human blood with his hands wrapped around my back.

I let out a small grunt after feeling shocked at this sudden change. The pain that surged through this body caused me to flinch at his very touch.

"Which is?" I asked placing my hands on his chest pushing him slightly apart from me.

"Disappear" He says loosening me from his grip. Confused, I furrowed my brows as if what he said was nonsense.

"I want you and your master gone without interference, in other words demised." Giving me an evil smirk, he then turned around walking away at a slow pace so even I can catch up to him.

Without anything else to say, I obediently followed him back to the Trancy manor. This by far is the most vulnerable I've ever been in my life.

"Like a mouse wrapped around a cats claw, how pitiful..." I said aloud following behind my enemy.
