How You Met

-Pein- 

You grunted as you walked away from the fancy restaurant that your boyfriend had taken you to, only to tell he was breaking up with you. What a douche bag. Instead of being sad, like he expected, you slapped him across the face and stomped out, cursing him as you walked away. You see, you're a ninja, kinda. You know some ninjutsu, but because of your possessive (ex) boyfriend, you quit being a ninja because he wasn't a big fan of feminism and all that. You being the hopeless romantic you are, thought it was sweet, the way he explained it. But now, you're single as a pringle once again. You sighed as you looked around the street, finding a crowded little diner like place. You smiled at the place, rushing to the door and stepping inside, making the little bell ring. You glanced around the busy place, seeing no open seats, but you were determined to find somewhere to relive your feet of the horrid heels you wore. You scanned the small restaurant, seeing all the booths full. Well, all except for one. Only one man sat in the big booth. As you approached, you realized that he was actually really cute. He had orange hair and lots of piercings. You coughed awkwardly to get his attention. The man glanced at you questioningly. 

"Hi! I hope you don't mind me asking, but uh, can I sit with you?" You asked, giving a hopeful look. He hesitated, but shrugged. 

"If you wish." You sighed in relief and smiled at him. You flopped down across from him. 

"Thank you sooooo much." You said, bending to undo the straps on your f/c heels. It was silent for a bit, while the waitress walked over and gave you a menu. You thanked her, but already knew what you were going to get. You ordered a whiskey (just roll with it), smiling as she nodded and swiftly walked off. The man across from you gave a kind of surprised look before smirking slightly. 

"Rough day?" He asked, opening up a bit. You laughed sheepishly and nodded. 

"Break up." At that he just nodded, making you giggle. A few minutes later, after your drink came, you and the strangely attractive man made small talk until he had to go, "Wait!" You almost shouted, making him stop from getting up, "What's your name?" You asked. 

"Pein." You smiled at him. 

"y/n." You put your hand out, letting him shake it before he rushed out. 

-Itachi- 

You had been walking around the forest for a while, just taking in the nature and the beauty of it. Okay. You were lost. But hey! It's not like you were a ninja or something. Oh wait.... So yeah, after getting lost, you just decided 'Fuck it! Might as well enjoy myself.' After a bit of wandering, you found a small clearing with a pond! You smiled as you ran towards it, starring at yourself in the water when you came close. You winked at yourself, then giggled. You had balance around the edge, when you heard a sound come from the forest around you. You jumped, almost falling into the water. You sighed in relief as you saved yourself just a second before being submerged in ice cold water. You were about to start walking around the pond again, when there was a much louder noise, making you squeal and fall backwards. You cursed yourself as you fell, but you never hit the water. You felt arms catching you before anything happened. You slowly opened your closed eyes, seeing a very good looking man holding you. Your eyes widened as you gulped. That's when the man smirked, making you blush and jump away from him. 

"U-uh.... Thanks for saving me...." You laughed nervously. 

"It was no problem." He said. You smiled at him sheepishly, taking in his features. He had long raven hair and onyx eyes with stress marks. He was so... so amazing to look at! You heard him chuckle, "Thank you my dear, you are very beautiful yourself." He said, making you freeze up. 

"I-I said that o-out loud...?" You asked to no one in particular. You may be a ninja, but you were a bit of an air head. No offense. He nodded, making your blush deepen, "O-oh... sorry." You looked away from him. He just chuckled again, sending shivers through you.
