chapter 1 the last day

Chapter 1

There we stood looking at the destruction before us the bodies the blood and our home. And all of it, all of it was my best friends fault.

Five weeks earlier

My name is Sienna Milcans and this my friends is what I have woken up to every morning since I started high school the sound of my obnoxious big brother Leon, (yes that's right I said big) singing, badly might I add. Yep that was sibling love for you. After hitting him with a rapid fire of pillows I dragged myself out of bed falling onto the floor shook my body, as I knew Leon wasn't kidding when he said he would tip water on my head. I pulled on my ugly ass school uniform honestly who puts blue and green together EW! I grabbed my phone of charge and jumped down the stairs. Today was a good day today was the best day because today was the last day of grade ten then I would be on holiday for a whole six weeks. Unfortunately I still had to catch the bus but this was the last time I ever would have to because Leon gets his P plates soon and then he can drive me. But I have to catch the bus or should I say Minnie van it was technically a bus though it only had twenty seats and half of them were empty any way seen we lived out on a 64 acre property in blue mountain. There were only four other kids on our long bendy dirt road and I emphasize the kids part all except one of them there was this one weird boy never talked though he smelled powerful like a vampire oh yeah I can smell him because I'm a wolf and all no biggie. Humans like to call us werewolves but that's not technically what we are that is just a human legend. I am a shifter, so is my dad and mum and brother. The wolf type above us is lycans and then there are royals. We have packs, which are like our families there are hundreds if not thousands scattered all over the world. But to human eyes we are just normal people. I take a breath of fresh air and prepare for the torturous bus ride.
