Chapter 6

Eren's POV:

         I woke up naked, but with blankets over me. I was really warm and I couldn't see anything. That's when I realized I was pressed against a muscular chest that was breathing deeply and slowly. It was soothing. I cuddled closer to the mans chest, a small smile playing on my lips. I felt his strong arms wrap around me. That's when I heard a siren. It was like tornado siren, blaring in my ears. I shrieked in fright, and covered my ears while curling into a ball. He got up, and out of the bed, leaving me in a ball. I felt the blankets that where on me, ripped off, and I looked up to see him towering over me. It was Erwin. He had his tail back and In his hands he held what looked like handcuffs, shackles, and two blindfolds. He grabbed my feet, and shackled them together, cuffing my hands together right after, taking less than a second. He grabbed one blindfold and put it in my mouth, tightening it as tight as he could, causing me to make a muffled sound of pain. He then did the same with my eyes, just as tight. He picked me up bridal style, and swam as fast he could. I heard screaming, and crashing sounds. There was a metallic smell in the air, along with smoke, and dust, from whatever rubble was there. He was swimming, when BAM! Something knocked into him, and I flew and slammed onto the ground. I tried to groan in pain, but all anyone could probably hear was a muffled noise. I then felt hands pick me up, and throw me over their shoulder, swimming as fast as they could. All I could think was, what the hell is going on?
The person who put me over their shoulder swam extremely fast, going past sharp turns now and then. Then, the person set me down on what felt like a cushioned seat, and I felt it sink in as the person sat next to me. I heard a door slam, and the thing we where in started to move. The person sat me up, and hugged me to their chest.

"Mhmhmhmhmhm!" Was all I could say, considering the fact I had a gag, and nobody could understand me. They pushed me back a little bit, and took out my gag. He then took off my blindfold. As my eyes adjusted to the light, who I saw in front of me, was. Well. It was Levi. He untied my hands and looked up at me. All I pull say was, "What happened?"

"Well," he replied, "There're these merpeople called Titans. They're called that because they like to take Merpeoples soul mates. They live for a long time, meaning they can take as many of Merpeoples mates as they want. And as you can tell, he wants my mate. You." He looked at me, waiting for my response.

I just stared at him in shock. That's when I looked around, and noticed we where in some kind of carriage thing. I turned back to Levi.

"Wait. So, you and Erwin are, 'fighting' over me?"

"I suppose you could put it that way."

"Oh...hey, Levi?"

"Yes my little Eren?"

"U-uh, do you think that you could take off my shackles and handcuffs?"

"Oh, of course. One second." He then made his teeth longer, and cut through the chains, letting my wrists and ankles free. As he was putting the chains away, I hurried up, and opened the door and jumped out, rolling on the sandy sea floor. I got up, and turned, and swam as fast as I could. I didn't want to go back to Levi, or Erwin. I just wanted to go home. That's when I heard him. Levi. He was yelling at me to come back. I would've swam faster, but I was not very good at swimming. I somehow tripped over a large piece of coral, tumbling. After I landed on my side, groaning, I saw him in front of me. Levi, with his black tail. He looked very angry and sad.

"Eren. You have to come with me. I...I don't want you getting hurt."

I started sobbing, and I curled into a ball. I poked my tear stained face out and said,

"I-I...I just wanna go home."

"Eren, I can't do that." He leaned down in front of me and held my face in his hands. "You are my mate. If I let you go, Erwin will get you. If you stay with me you'll have a better life than you could ever imagine."

"What about my..my family."

".....*sighs.... Eren, I'm doing the best I can. Maybe, in the future, when we get rid of Erwin, maybe we can set up little visits for you and your family.
