Rachel POV

I got out of the car and made my way to kings cross station.

HogWarts here I come!!!

Well anyways I decided to make an impression and wore: an adventure time t shirt, black skinny jeans, and my lace up doc martens. I know that no one except for muggle borns will know what adventure time is and I am going to make it my life's mission to introduce this amazing show to the wizarding world!

Anyways back to my life, I stood between platform nine and ten. What the hell? It says platform 9 3/4 on my ticket.

Oh well I will try running into a brick wall instead.

I start to run at full speed towards the tall brick wall. Okay maybe this wasn't the best idea, but my thought is too late because I soon see the wall getting closer and closer.

I close my eyes getting ready for impact... But it never comes.

Once I finally do open my eyes I see a beautiful scarlet train standing in front of me. I just stand there and gape at the 

Hogwarts express like an idiot until I notice that I'm in public.

I blush and walk towards the train ready to go to Hogwarts. I pull my trunk of the trolley and pull it towards the train doors with no effort. I attached wheels to the trunk. ;)

It takes me a while to find a empty or at least almost empty cabin. It's so weird that no one would have the decency (I used a big word!) to let me sit. I mean seriously hurtful!

I finally find a empty cabin with only one person sitting inside.

The boy had sandy brown hair and bright blue eyes which scanned the pages of the book he was reading, I recognized the book as The Lost Hero. OMG I LURV THAT BOOK SO MUCH!!

Wait, isn't that a muggle book? Thank God he's not prejudice like certain other wizards!?

"Hi can I sit here? Everywhere else is full." I say interrupting his reading.  

He blushes a bit. Awww I make him nervous I get that a lot (sarcasm). I mentally flip my hair over dramatically.  

"Uh sure, of course! If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been standing there?" He said sheepishly. 

"About," I start looking at the non existing watch on my wrist."Ten minutes?"  

I grin he blushed furiously muttering an apology. 

"My names Rachel Fitzpatrick." I say still grinning and holding my hand out. 

"Remus Lupin." He replies taking my hand. 

"Do you like the book?" I ask pointing to his copy of the lost hero. 

"Yeah, it's about thi-" I cut him off. 

"Yeah yeah I know I read the book, it's really good. Once your done tell me because I have the next to books in the series." I smile at him 

His eyes go wide and we start talking about our favourite characters, Hogwarts and basically anything in general. 

Soon we here a loud whistle. 

"All aboard!" Calls the conductor from outside of the train. We watched in silence as late comers scurried into the train. 

Remus took out 2 chocolate frog boxes and handed one to me.  

"Thank you! I was just getting so hungry!"" I exclaimed dramatically.  

He just chuckled in response.  

I opened the box and right away the little frog jumped out. Remus and I stood up looking everywhere for the frog and finally he found it. But it seemed that one of us had stepped on it... Oops!  

We looked at each other just standing there.  

The train suddenly lurched forward causing me to loose balance and topple onto Remus.  

Soon enough I was on top of him with his arms around me. I noticed that our faces were just inches apart. Oh llama gods please tell me my breath doesn't stink.  

Oh wait, I'm chewing gum... 

I look into his blue eyes, they are pwetty.. 

We both blush and I start to get up but Remus tightens his grip around me. 

"Promise me something," He starts "That we will always no matter what be best friends!"  

His face breaks into a grin as does mine. 

We get up dust ourselves off and instead of sitting in front of each other, I sit beside him and he splits his chocolate frog into 2 giving half to me. 

Knock, knock! 

We here as the door slides open.
