The Yellow Daisy

   Once upon a time there was a beautiful yellow Daisy that shined so bright it seemed to bring happiness towards the world. The Daisy lived on the top of a mountain above a village. A young village boy,Edar,who had to travel towards the mountain every day because there was a well there with freshwater to drink.
   Since the flower was as lonely as Edar, they became the best of friends. Every day Edar would stop to talk with the Daisy and tell it about his day. The Daisy would listen and not judge but the older Edar got,the less time he would visit the Daisy.

   So for many years through fall and summer the Daisy just patiently waited. But one day as the sun was setting a grown man was walking up the hill towards the Daisy. The daisy was yet excited to have his old partner to visit again,"Why hello my yellow friend, I very much apologize that I do not visit anymore but I have come to ask a favor."pleaded Edar. The yellow daisy wondered after all this time what his old friend wanted."I have come to tell you that my wife is very ill,and no Doctor or medicine can help her. I am the only one who knows what to do. I must ask for your pedals to make a juice so strong that it can save her."
     The daisy did not want to disappoint one of his closest friends so he allowed Edar to carefully pull off all the petals from the yellow daisy. Just like he was never there, Edar disappeared from the hill. The frail,empty Daisy sat alone with no happiness left. They never met again.
