I have a power. Well, at least, that's what most would call it. To me, it's just a super weird... ability, I guess you could say.
I discovered it when I was younger. When in a miment of high stress, I managed to leave my body, and all time around me froze.
I could move and whatnot, but nothing else did.
Of course, I found that I could move things when on my own, and those things wouldbe affected when I reentered my body.
Until I was 17, I hid this ability, as I already had enough on my shoulders at the time.
Oh, who am I, you ask? My name is Myko Valance. Official Soul Walker, Spirit Stepper, Walker, whatever the hell you wanna call it.
The day that my life changed started off seeming like a normal day. I woke up, to my mother whom hated me for being homosexual, and then went to school.
Here, I was bullied each day. Whether because of my clothing, my looks, my sexuality, someone had something to say to send my entire day spiraling into an agonizing torture.
I walked into my school, my rainbow colored hair being a beacon for insults to sail in and dock.
I was wearing a shirt missing the sleeves, with was black and white, and had on tattered jeans, ripped at the knees.
One strap of my backpack was perched on my shoulder, the blue bag weighing down on me. My hands were in my pockets as I attempted to make my way to my locker.
I reach my locker, and don't even have time to open it before I'm shoved, my sunglasses spiraling off into the crowd of people.
Andrew Pandeck, the school bully, snickers and shoves me again.
"Hey, gaylord. What's up, looking for some guy to perv on?" He asks.
His goons, Collin and Matthew, snicker aswell, staring at me now on the floor.
The halls start to clear, and I'm left alone with these three.
Andrew looks around, making sure the coast is clear, before kicking me in the side. I grunt, gritting my teeth, not wanting to give him the satisfaction if my pain.
They lift me up, shoving me against my locker. Collin goes for a swing, and right then I snap.
In an instant, I step out of my body. The world around me freezes, becoming gray.
At the speed of light I move their bodies.
I lift Collin off the ground, applying force that will come into affect when I return.
I bring Andrew's fist to his jaw, applying force again. I wasn't thinking, just hoping I could get those sneers off their faces.
I push Matthew forwards, applying force to his head that will knock him out on a locker door.
I return to my body, and time resumes, the world in color again.
Collin flys through the air, slamming into the ceiling before coliding with the ground in a heap.
Andrew punches himself in the jaw, throwing him to the ground.
Matthew hits the locker and drops to the ground unconscious.
And just before I can walk away, a few teachers grab me and lead me to the principals office.
