Chapter 13

I woke up in Jake's arms. He was sleeping peacefully, and he looked so adorable, like a little puppy. Scratch that, a freakishly big puppy, but still adorable.

I smiled at him as he snored quietly. I raised a brow mischievously, getting an idea.

I carefully unwrapped his arms from my waist and stood up. I stared at him for a second before I ran into the bathroom, cup in hand, filling it up with freezing cold water. I snuck back into the room, knowing I'd regret this later, walked over to the bed. I set the cup down on the nightstand and moved our phones so they wouldn't get ruined. Then, I stood over him before pouring the ice water on him. He jolted awake and I burst out laughing. I stopped when I realized when he was now smiling mischievously like I had been 5 minutes ago. Dammit, I knew I'd regret this. What was he planning?

"Jake...." I said while backing up. He stood up and walked over to me slowly. He backed me up, almost into a wall, back I ducked down and ran around the room. Sadly, he was much quicker than me and grabbed me quickly. I laughed as i tried to get loose, but it was no use. I was powerless against him...

When he knew I wasn't going to stop fidgeting, he started to tickle me. I fell to the floor laughing, slightly disappointed he remembered my weakness.

"Jake! Ja-jake, stop!!". I screamed between giggles. When he had stopped tickling me, he still hovered over me, letting his minty breath fan over my face.

"Jake.." I trailed off as he leaned in closer to me, and kissing my neck. I held back a moan as he got to my jawline, then smashed his lips into mine. This time, I let the moan come out of my mouth, and he smiled against my lips. He stood us up, while I let my legs wrap around his waist and went back to kissing. Then, the one thing I didn't expect him to do, he did. He flung me over his shoulder like a stack of potatoes and carried me into the bathroom.

"Jake!" I yelled. "What are you doing, put me down!!". He turned the shower on as I continued to yell at him to put me down. Which of course was the total opposite of what he did. He stepped in he shower, me still over his shoulder. I immediately felt the freezing water hit my back and legs. I had on pj shorts and a tank top, so I was NOT enjoying this as much as Jake seemed to be. He was laughing, and soon, I was joining him. When we finally calmed down, he looked down at me and moved a strand of hair behind my ear.

"Amanda," he smiled. "You're simply the most amazing, beautiful, crazy, funny, weird, beautiful, adorable, beautiful, cute, most beautiful girl i have ever met. Did i mention beautiful?" he smirked as he raised an eyebrow as if he didn't know. I laughed and hugged him tightly.

"Jake, I am not that pretty." I stated.

"Amanda, look at me." I looked up into his big blue eyes. "You need to not be so insecure about yourself. You're so perfect, it's not even ok. It should be illegal to be as perfect as you." he grinned, and I smiled back up at him. I leaned in and kissed him softly on the lips.

"Thanks Jake." I smiled. He nodded.

"No problem, teddy bear." he winked at me for his ridiculously stupid nickname for me. I rolled my eyes, but couldn't help and smile.

"What are we doing today?" I asked.

"You wanna go shopping at the mall?" he asked, and I nodded, excited. I couldn't wait.
