It was a cool calm night in mid October and Natalie was walking home from school band practice with her friends Lacey, Charlie and Morgaine. "Man, band was tough today there was soooo many sheets of music I didn't have time to write in all the notes." Charlie complained "Ditto." Natalie said sighing. "Well I didn't need to write in the notes on my sheet music" Lacey said clearly happy she 1-upped us "Not everyone can be as perfect as you Miss Lacey" Morgaine mumbled "Was that a compliment Morgaine Laird?" Lacey exclaimed. "M-Mabye, what about it?!" she stammered "Am I not allowed to compliment you or something?!" "Oh you are" Lacey said "I just never saw you as the type to compliment someone like that, you know what I mean?" A light blush crept onto Morgaine's face, "How can a goddess like that not have half the school after her?" she thought deeply before answering Lacey's remark "People aren't always the way you think they are Lacey." "OTP OTP OTP!" Natalie and Charlie chanted with mischievous smirks of their faces "Shut up you two!" Lacey and Morgaine yelled at them in unison their faces flushed pink with embarrassment. Suddenly a large explosion occurred at the highschool making the four girls scream and fall into each other with Jordan narrowly missing groping her friend. "W-What was that?!" whimpered Natalie "It scared me half to death." "T-To be honest, I don't know what it was" Morgaine said trying not to sound scared and failing "But at least school will be closed for a while". Chimed in Charlie, moving her bright ginger hair from her eyes. "We need to check it out!" Lacey said standing up psyched from their near death experience "So get off your butts help me inspect the crime scene!"
