Chapter 26

Isa

I woke up at 6am with a smile on my face from the night before and decided to go out for a run around the neighborhood before practice this afternoon. I knew Pilar would be awake right now so I quietly got dressed, putting on a neon pink sports bra and black leggings. I looked in the mirror really quickly only to notice the hickey I got last night was more that prominent on my neck and before I went anywhere out of my room I needed to cover it up. Once I was happy I told Pilar I was just going to run over to Rene's for breakfast and come back for practice. Rene only lived a few miles away, so it was always a good run, it only took 30 minutes. I put my headphones on and off I went. I got to Rene's at 7:00 and rung the bell.

"Hola Isa! I'm so glad you could come for breakfast!"

Rene said pulling me in for a hug.

"Now go shower up, by then breakfast will be ready!"

he said kissing me on the forehead and sending me upstairs. I had a room here at his house too, so I could spend time with him and Vania as well. While I was in the shower I remembered that Luca was going away for two weeks and was leaving today. I felt kind of bad because he didn't stay a proper goodbye last night. I'm not going to go all crazy girlfriend on him, but I wish he would do stuff like that.

"Isa breakfast is ready!"

Vania yelled from downstairs, I finished up my shower and went into the guestroom and broke into my secret stash of clothes that I had there. Once I was all dressed I went to get break fast.

"Isa how have you been? You need to come over here more!"

Rene said smiling and pulling me into a Ramos hug.

"I've been good! Busy with football and stuff!"

He smiled and we all sat down.

"So Isa are you still dating that frenchie?"

Rene asked laughing at is little joke.

"Yeah we are!"

"He's treating you right? Not pressuring you? Because I swear if he is..."

He rambled on, Vania laughed and said,

"Rene relax, leave the girl alone she seems happy."

My face had to have been beet red at this point. My brothers were really protective of me.

"He's great, and don't worry Sergio already scared him straight."

I said digging back into my breakfast. Once we finished Rene drove me home so I could change and go to practice.

Luca (Did you see that coming?)

Isa is always on my mind, I know that is so cliché but I can't stop thinking about her. I think our relationship is perfect, I don't want it to change or go any further for now. I feel like we're going to be together forever anyway so no need to rush into things, and do something stupid. Right now I'm getting ready to leave for Dubai to play a few games there with my team. I'll be gone for two weeks and I wish I could take Isa with me. Before I leave I'm going to surprise Isa at her practice this morning. She looks really hot when she's playing football.

"Lover boy quit day dreaming we have to get going!"

My dad yelled from downstairs, I could here Enzo snickering in the hallway. I quickly closed up my suitcase and hurried down.

"Yeah lover boy hurry!"

Enzo yelled in my ear. He was so annoying sometimes.

My dad and I got in the car and headed over to the practice grounds. As we pulled up I could see Isa doing her stretches, she looked amazing even with no makeup and her practice kit.
"I'm going to wait in the car Luca, remember we have to be at the airport at 12 and in 11:15 now. "

My dad said. I hoped out of the car, flowers and card in hand, as I walked over to Isa. She had her back turned to me so I walk right up behind her. Giving her a light poke on the shoulder. She whipped around and squealed when she saw me. I smiled and opened my arms wide for her.

Isa

I couldn't believe he came to surprise me! I pulled him in for a hug. I he gave some of the best hugs because he arms are so long and strong. I could hear my teammates giggling or aweing at us and someone snapped a few pictures. We broke apart and he gave me a big bouquet of flowers and card.

"I wanted to say goodbye in person, so my sweet I will see you in two weeks!"

He said smiling and giving me and another hug.

"See you in two weeks Luc, have so much fun and take picture for me."

I said, he kissed the top of my head before we broke apart once again.

"I have to go to the airport, but I'll call you when I get there!"

He softly walked away and left me there smiling like an idiot.
