Sidestories of TDKMO and Barnyard Bay

Beach Day!

~Kat's POV~

Summer vacation at last! I love school and all, but I needed a break! Levi, Aaron, Nate, and I are going to the beach in Barnyard Bay, which is only 60 miles from our city. Of course the car is silent, we never talk about anything! Levi looks so cute when he's concentrated on the road. KAT, SHUT UP YOU MAY NOT THINK WEIRD THOUGHTS ABOUT LEVI, THIS MAY BE YOUR DAY OFF, BUT STILL THAT IS THE LEADER OF THE WOLVES! Maybe I shouldn't be so hard on myself, he is still super cute when he concentrates. I look out the window and see we're probably really close, there are barns spread out over the rolling hills, along with cows, pigs, and sheep. The car comes to a stop, we're at a house with a barn and a chicken coop.

"We're lost." Levi says, getting out of the car to go knock on the door.

"Ugh, I hate being lost." Aaron whines.

"You and me both." Nate says. I put my attention on the chicken coop, where the looks to be 40 to 50 chickens. Levi gets into the car.

"Okay we head to town and drive straight from there." He says, talking to himself. He starts to drive us into town, Oh my god, its not ruined like our city, It looks so happy! There's no shady alleyways, and there is no Rattlesnakes. Levi stops the car in a little parking lot in front of a beach. There are mothers and children and teenagers. I get out of the car, and run down to the beach. The boys come down a little bit after me. I take off the dress I was wearing over my white bikini. I run into the water.

"Oh my god, IT'S NOT GROSS AND FILLED WITH POLLUTION! I yell, A girl with black hair and a teal one piece walks up to me.

"You're not from around here, are you?" She says.

"No, we're from the big city." I say.

"Well, I'm Connie, and that over there," She turns to point a boy with shaggy black hair. "That's my friend, Jay."

"I'm Kat, and those three boys," I point at Nate, Aaron, and Levi. "The blonde one is Nate, the brunette is Aaron, and the fellow with the black hair is Levi."

"You seem nice, wanna come over and hang with Jay and I?' She asks.

"Let us get settled in first, then we'll come over." I say smiling.

"Ok, see you all then!" She says walking off, I walk onto shore to talk to the boys.

"Who was that?" Nate asks.

"That was Connie, And we are going to go swim with her later." I say.

~Keightlyn's POV~

Who was that girl talking to Connie? Who does she think she is, I might have to take her out, as in kill her. Whatever. I don't care. All I know is she looked at Jay, and that will never do. Jay is mine she can't take him away. I pull a knife out of my beach bag and I slowly creep up to her, I almost stab her, but she grabs my arm and flips me over her shoulder.

"Don't ever threaten my life again, town girl." She says, she plucks the knife out of my hand and throws it into the water.

"Who do you think you are?" I ask her, she looks at the boy with black hair and he shakes his head no.

"I live in the city, I trained 5 years in martial arts." She says.

"Do you think I care?" I ask.

"You asked who I am, I told you." She says.

"I think I don't give a shit." I say, getting up.

"I think you should leave before Kat beats you up." The blonde boy says.
