*~(The title of this chapter is from Grow Up by Paramore.)~*

Jamia, Frank and I spent the whole day together, then Jamia left. Frank and I went to bed soon after that.

On Tuesday I decided it was time for a bit of revenge on Gerard. I wore a low-cut black tank top that exposed my cleavage. I topped it off with my leather jacket, but I left it unzipped enough to still show some skin. I wore a plaid skirt, some ripped tights, and my black combat boots. I put on a bit more makeup than I usually would, and I topped the look off with some dark red lipstick. The last thing I did was put my eyebrow and nose piercings in. I examined myself in the full-length mirror in my room. I looked much more punk than I usually do, and I looked hot. It had been far too long since I'd put effort into how I look, and it had been even longer since I went full punk.

I stepped out of my room and Frank laughed. He knew about my plan.

"You look great. He's probably gonna pass out, or like, piss his pants," he joked.

"Oh, he'll do more than piss," I said, and I chuckled as I flashed Frank an evil smirk. If I was gonna be a punk again, I had to get into character.

"What?" Frank asked. Then he got what I meant. "Oh Jesus. That's disgusting! I don't wanna know about a teacher's cum!"

I laughed again. "That's your fault. You brought it up."

"But I don't wanna know about that! As far as I'm concerned, he doesn't do that!"

"Oh believe me, he does that," I smirked. Frank faked a gag.

"No he doesn't! I don't wanna hear about it! I don't wanna hear about any cum, let alone my teacher's!"

"He's a man! All men do that! Do I need to remind you what babies are made out of?"

"Stop!" Frank yelled, then he covered his ears and started yelling nonsense to block me out. He was still laughing so I laughed, but finally stopped. We began to walk to school now.

When we got to school, Jamia was waiting for us. She hugged Frank, then she looked at me in shock. "Christ, Sky, you're gonna give the guy a heart attack," she joked. She was the one who originally had this idea.

"Good," I chuckled. Jamia giggled.

I was going to be tardy to his class today too. I had so many plans to make his life hell.

*~*~*

Classes went by pretty well, but now it was time for the moment I'd been waiting for; art class.

I stalled in the hallway and walked Jamia and Frank to their class, so I could be late to art class. Once the tardy bell rang, I slowly made my way to art class. The door was closed, so I knocked. Mr. Way answered soon after I knocked. I caught him looking me up and down. He bit his lip slightly before he spoke.

"Skylar, you're late," he said quietly. I rolled my eyes and smirked at him.

"I know," I said nonchalantly without taking the smirk off my face. He rolled his eyes and stepped aside to let me into his class. I walked into class and he sat down on his chair. I "accidentally" dropped my bag on my way into class, so I bent over to grab it, which left my chest almost perfectly at eye level with him. He bit his lip and I smirked again.

I then took my seat next to Pete, and I began flirting with him. When Mr. Way wasn't looking, I passed Pete a note telling him to go with my flirting. I was lucky to have such an understanding ex. We talked and laughed together for a while, and I made sure to be noticeably flirtatious.

"Skylar, Pete, I'm trying to explain the assignment," Mr. Way sighed. "Can you please stop talking?"

"Make me," I said, then I crossed my legs up on my desk. Mr. Way rolled his eyes, but continued explaining the assignment to the class.

After he explained it, everybody but me started on it. He sighed again.

"Skylar, please start the assignment."

"Nah, I'd rather not."

He huffed and ran a hand through his black hair. I knew he didn't want to give me detention, because that would be awkward for both of us, but I was giving him no choice. If he didn't give me detention, it'd be obvious to the rest of the class that he has feelings for me.

I pulled out my phone and began to mess with it. I'm going to make it so he has no choice but to give me detention. I'm gonna make his life hell.

"Stay after class, Skylar. That's a detention for you," he said.

I laughed and rolled my eyes. There's no way he'd really make me stay at detention. He cares too much about me for that, even if he is supposedly just my teacher. I continued flirting with Pete until the bell.

After the bell rang, I tried to get out just to piss Mr. Way off, but he stopped me.

"Skylar, you have detention, remember?" Mr. Way groaned. I scoffed, but still sat right back down at my desk in the back of the class. I crossed my legs on the desk again, and I stared at the ceiling.

Jamia and Frank were going to wait for me, because we all knew I could get out of this. I also asked Pete if he could wait for me, because I had an idea.

"Um, h-hi Skylar," Mr. Way said, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.

"I'm in detention. I'm supposed to be quiet," I scoffed.

He was silent for a while, then he spoke. "You look nice today."

"That's a creepy thing to say to a student."

"Oh. S-sorry," he stammered. "I was just saying. I didn't mean to creep you out or anything."

"Mr. Way, you and I both know you don't really want to to keep me here. Can you save us both some time and discomfort by letting me leave? I have better shit to do than spend my day with somebody like you."

"No, Skylar. I'm your teacher, and you can't act like that in my class just because you don't like me right now. That's immature," he said. I rolled my eyes.

"You're not gonna find much maturity in your dating pool. I know you only like to date teenagers. They're not the most mature bunch."

"You can't mention that here anymore," he whispered. "As far as I'm concerned, it never happened."

I was hurt at that, but I couldn't show him that. I couldn't look weak. "I wish it never happened," I murmured. "If you don't want me to talk about it, just let me leave."

"This behavior is unacceptable," he said.

"What are you gonna do about it? Pull out a Ouija board and call my parents?"

He huffed and ran a hand through his hair. "You're impossible. Just go."

"Thank you. I have better things to do."

Now came the next part of the plan. I opened the door, and Pete was waiting for me, just like we planned. He picked me up bridal style, and I faked a terribly flirty giggle. I could practically feel Gerard's eyes burning into my back. I kissed Pete's cheek, and he carried me just out of Gerard's line of view. When we were sure Gerard couldn't see or hear us anymore, he set me down. Frank and Jamia now came out to join us.

"Thanks for that, Pete. I think he believed it," I giggled.

"No problem," Pete chuckled. I hugged him goodbye and he left. Frank, Jamia and I walked home again.

This whole punk thing wasn't just a change in my look. I'm turning over a new leaf. I'm not going to be naive and weak anymore.

I'm not a little girl anymore. This is me now.
